    So glad you and your daughter are doing well; it's fantastic that she's able to go back to work. Praying for you to get the results you need to allow you to visit your Mom again. Take care and continue to gain strength.

    After stirring verathan with chopstick, you should stick end of chopstick into foam block so you can stand it up & use all that excess verathan by wiping it off with your brush (then using it on your bead) instead of wiping it off with paper towel. Just use a 2nd chopstick to hold the bead while coating it. May save bunches of verathane!
    Thanks so much for the excellent tutorial.. those beads are simply GORGEOUS!!!

    They are indeed beautiful. Kind of remind me of crescent rolls as you wind them up. I love the idea of making your own beads.....it makes matching pendants, earrings, brooches so much easier. Again, a great tutorial. Thankyou!

    I've watched several of your videos, but this is my first time leaving a comment. You've gotten a lot better about being concise and editing out unnecessary content, which I appreciate. I love learning new approaches and different ways to craft, but like most folks my time is limited and I need to use video length as one of my criteria in deciding which videos to watch. This improvement you've made enables me to learn from you more often, so thank you. :)
    I hope you and your daughter are both recovering well and fully. I'm a mom with 3 daughters, and the 3 of us who live in the same county had the virus earlier this year at the same time, so I very much sympathize.

    • @fawnwolfe7355
      @fawnwolfe7355 4 года назад +1

      notashroom I personally love Alison’s videos. she’s always been very concise. An awful lot of her techniques require an in-depth explanation and sometimes that takes time. She has to balance video length with being thorough. I appreciate that you may be too busy for long videos but there is one of her and many of us and she doesn’t have time to answer each and every one of us individually if she leaves something out that we need to know. It’s not like she sits around telling stories, she shares details about her projects. I personally appreciate quality over quantity and would rather watch and learn from a great longer video than a short so so average video showing me one more way to do something everyone else has already done. As far as what was wrong with them, another rude individual chose to ignore the fact that they had all of the symptoms of covid and went to work sick as a dog, infecting her daughter who got it and took it home to mom. They both suffered terribly. They both recovered. In the mean time all of us were pretty worried about them.

    • @notashroom
      @notashroom 4 года назад

      @@fawnwolfe7355 I'm happy for you that you are pleased with Alison's videos of all lengths. I also appreciate quality over quantity, which is why I praised Alison for getting better at being more concise and editing out unnecessary parts. You needn't defend her from me, as I'm not attacking her.
