Rock lee is my favourite character in fiction. Especially because his story resonates with me so much. Every since I was 12 it was my ultimate goal to get into state volleyball, despite me being 5”7 and my wingspan being 6cm less than the average for my height. But 5 years later I worked and worked on my jump height, my serves, my receives, my sets and my hits, day after day and just a few months ago I finally made the state team after being rejected 4 years in a row.

I never realized just how much I resonate with Rock Lee. This video has really sparked something in me. Fucking thank you. My determination and perseverance will always be my best and favorite quality. I'll use it the best that I can. I use Lee as discipline for myself whenever i go to the gym and try show off my muscles and body. I cover myself in baggy clothing or I do my best when nobody’s there. Sometimes it’s best to just “move in silence”

Not really, even Rock Lee said hard work beats talent that doesn't work hard. That's what ultimately Naruto was, a reincarnation of a shinobi god that worked really hard as well. That's why Rock Lee wasn't relevant in Shippuden, others got their bloodline related power ups and Rock Lee got left behind. Very life accurate imo. Might Guy and Lee are my favourite characters for sure

@@bacik847Okay so what about Might Guy ? Just because Rock Lee doesn't have power up because of Masashi's plot, Rock Lee fell off really badly on Shipudden which I think is mainly due to him getting low preference by Masashi
@@venusamvs14 yes, but hard working person from wealthy family will always achieve more than a hardworking poor person. Or a hard working 5'5 person won't ever get to the NBA, less hardworking 6'7 might. I think that's what Naruto was ultimately about, maxing out your potential, someone's potential is just higher than others.
