This was the first sonic game released on hardware that wasnt sega. The dreamcast was still around when this game came out and i just remember that blowing my mind as a kid. I couldnt believe Sonic was on something Sega didnt make.

So many references. 1. The intro looks like sonic 3 2. Neo south island is just emerald hill but its green hill zone 3. AGAIN. THE VICTORY SOUND IS SONIC 3. (Even the jingle) 4. The special stage is like sonic 2 5. Act 2 of the first zone is angel island.. why. 6. Enemies are different. They are like in sonic 1, 2 ,3. not sure. 7. the boss theme is familar but different. 8. I HATE THIS. THE BOOTLEG CHEMICAL PLANT ZONE. GREAT. IT HAS THE ANGEL ISLAND MUSIC. WHY?!?! 9. forgot that the first boss looks like the aquatic ruins boss but with tank looking wheels. 10. Very sneaky trick sega. We see that on secret plant act 2 has the hydrocity act 2 music. 11. Awful. Cosmic casino has the sonic 3 bonus music. NOW ITS CASINO NIGHT?! 12. Finally. Unlike other sonic games that doesnt do a peace sign (except sonic 1,2,3 and 4?) This ones does a peace sign in the sign. 13. I think this ones a bonus music from another sonic game. Maybe sonic 3?
