Hey Jake. I know you probably won't even be reading this, but I just wanted to say I used to watch your videos all the time when you used to do Cambridge vlogs. I really loved it because it helped me see what life is like over there and how Cambridge is in general. Really loved your vlogs.
I haven't been watching for a while, but I would come back to watch your videos every now and then. I love how sincere your vlogs seem.

I loved your choice of music. They really drive the footage. I'm glad you and Claudio got a chance to spend a couple days away. Too bad it was a bit rainy, but then you're used to that - I love how he knows, when you direct him to speak - he does. Hopefully there will be a part two - work week in Berlin vlog. @@Styleflix Earlier years' postings. Jake and Roger went to Prague about a year or so ago. Roger insisted on going to a particular club in an obscure part of the City. Reading between the lines......... never come across such a hot 'dark room'. Seen it on porn websites. 😱😱😱

The clubs in Berlin only want people who like techno to enter to keep the vibe good. You don't like techno, they could probably tell by your friendly demeanour and clothing. They probably saved you a couple of hours of you thinking 'I really don't like this music' anyway
If Berlin is just like what you showed, I can confidently say I don’t wanna go there.

I have been in Berlin very often but the thing that fascinates me more than the buildings are the people and their attitude to life. These persons are the opposite of the rest of east-germany. Also, Berlin is huge and there are so many people from so many countries, its just fascinating how many faces Berlin has. (And in summer, the weather is good very often ^^)

Very sad that you got rejected at tresor. I find it kind of contraticting that berlin is known for its club and techno scene internationally, yet they are trying to reject any kind of international visitors. The techno scene claims to be "open" but they clearly seperate you because of your outward appearence. I understand that they want to let people in which are into the music but its not like its exclusively for those. Someone once told me that at berghain they look for people which can widthstand what they see inside of berghain.
Next time you should try another techno club in berlin which is not that famous to get a good taste of the music. There are still many good clubs with an open door policy like e.g. about blank, hoppetosse, etc. etc.
In my opinion you shouldn't just look at the line up names but also listen to their music which can be very diffrent along the electronic spectrum. In some clubs you can even buy presale tickets which is kind of a guarantee that you get in.
