- On May 7, 2009, my Mom, Dad, Wife, and I had an experience of a lifetime. We got to ride on the Goodyear Blimp. Here are the highlights of our flight. The pilot for our ride was Kristen Davis Arambula.
I got to ride in a Goodyear blimp to because of a radio show contents at cedar point amusement park also I got to meet Dale Earnhardt Jr to. Back in July 12 2010.
I want a jet pack. But this will do. Good upload. I want to see the documentary

I flew with her too, in 2008.
She's a very skillful pilot, who can handle the blimp like we drive a car! Neal Sausen

Thank you Kuhnster. I was lucky enough to go up once in 87. First time flying, it was the Columbia then. Watching these videos is like reliving that rare euphoric moment again. Thanks.

Yes, imagine a blimp trying to cruise in a 60 knot headwind at normal cruise speed (It wouldn't get very far). In order to consider furnishing a blimp, one must first consider the amount of space available for decor. If I were given an airship (lucky day) with a good amount of floor space to work with, I would try to use the lightest materials as not to weigh down the vessel.
Yes, I watched Disney's "Up" before. Too bad those balloons ran out of energy and landed, I suppose the elder man didn't think about a way of getting back aloft again.In my airship home, I would include a kitchen, living room, shower facilities, and latrine, all the normal comforts of a home :)
quick question, about how of do they actually have to add more helium to the blimp?
It would be interesting to be able to travel pretty much anywhere the weather is fair, of course, finding a hangar on short notice when the weather fouls up at any place and time might not be feasibly possible.
It is everything I hoped it would be.
@penguinshamrock My wife went to a Goodyear Tire store and go to know the manager who called corporate head quarters. 6 months later someone called us and after 2 cancelations because of the weather we got our ride.
