3 tips, first a bear will kill you at some point in a cave😅, 2nd drop everything you mine as you clear the mine out to save time once everything is on the floor pick it up and move it to your storage 3rd smithing stops the season from changing till your done.
I've heard that the towns that end in "ica" (denica, klonica, lesnica, etc) are pronounced "eetsa" too. I pronounce everything in this game wrong, lol 😭
Cool I didn't know about a couple of the Oxbow caves, Thank you. I like to build miner outposts at the mines. 3 houses and storages for location convenience and extra storage weight. Never really have to even visit them again once up unless needing to decorate their homes for happiness increase. Oxbow is my first time in this game. Is the 1st Medieval Dynasty. is it as good?
Smart! I will usually place resource storage outside mines for the extra space as well. If you ever play solo, the first map is definitely worth playing! I would probably prefer the Valley if it had multiplayer, but there's a lot to like about the Oxbow! Maybe my opinion will change with time 🤷♂️
I decided to build my village at the waterfall cave in the Oxbow, only to find out later on how popular of a choice it was. 😅 I guess I chose correctly...
This video reflects the most recent Oxbow/Co-op update thats only available on steam at the moment. Once Consoles get the update, this video will make more sense.
I got too good at farming. Sitting on about $50k in year 2. So I just buy all the iron tools. 100 iron arrows in my quiver right now... I don't like crossbow. Like my recurve... Next playthrough, no farming. I might even stream that....
this guy and 1 other been my staple for learning the game. other guy does great breakdowns of npc exp gain per job each station spread sheet etc so u can lvl them up quickly. or quicker if u choose.
Viewers beware: There are either bandits or bears outside most of the Valley caves now, but the bandits are really easy to clear if you prepare a bunch of spears before hand, even as a fresh spawn as they're pretty stupid and not particularly aggressive. Also a great source of sellable loot early game.
Hey Jay! Just started playing the game two weeks ago and your channel has been indescribably helpful, wondering if you can make a video showing how to make your village fully automatic? In terms if crafting etc
@@AcornSmokes420 I play console so I don't have access to Oxbow but I would want to play the original map first anyway however I started my village in the cave up north but I can't fish that stream and as much as I said I don't care I'll go without the fishing I want it so I'm relocating
Thank you, I was so confused. I was using my stone pickaxe on the bigger rocks around the forest and nothing was happening. Seems kind of dumb, maybe I need a stronger pickaxe?
It looks like Flatbread can be made at 25 tech now, so even better for leveling!
Just started yesterday with this game. This video contains everything I need, nothing more, nothing less. Good job and thanks 🤙🏼
Glad I could help!

Crafting in general stops the season from changing, but good tips all around!

I Love it😍@@SirJayWalker
Apparently wisent is pronounced “visent” who’d have thought

@@SirJayWalker if that’s the case then your not alone, I’d have never guessed at that madness of a pronunciation.
It's a damn buffalo 😂
@@Mr_Dad331 actually it’s a subspecies of bison
I've been pronouncing it like "why saunt". TIL

Sounds like it 😆
This is definitely worthy of the kings Tax! 🤴
This is good to hear! 😆💜
Nice guide, thank you 👋🏻👴🏼
You're Welcome!
Please help me figure out Why my pickaxe wont break rocks to harvest stone??
only certain mountain rocks give stone, check around mountains. You can also get stone from metal nodes in caves
Ok thanks
You cant get copper in the extraction hut, unless you have a mkne unlocked already as well. At least on consoles

I found the pick and cave in the very beginning before getting to my first location.
Lucky!
i can build near a cave even tho my village isnt in the area?
Yep!
Just started playing this game on PS5 and its incredible but can you make another video about lakes and fishing.
From what I heard rivers have like unlimited fish and lakes do but the size make a difference but that’s what I heard from other channels

Not at 5000 construction pts and the king just requested 25 iron bars... I don't know if I can level up & produce before the end of the season :(
Do you have 5000 production tech? If so, you could buy the ore and smelt it yourself. Or buy the bars at a vendor, but it may be expensive 😬
Wait there also is another valley named oxbow??
The new map is only out for steam at the moment, but it will be released for everyone before summer
Thanks😊
