Thanks for the video! One question, if you reserve a pokemon just to get a masterball. And you use that to capture a different pokemon later, what will happen to the reserved pokemon?
@@thediceyreview oh. so it seems like you can do this to block certain evolutions from other players in case you have no intention to catch it and just get a masterball? since it will just be in your reserve. is this correct?
@@junelpagtakhan5740 you could use it like that yes, or you could just make sure you save one that you want to do so it doesn’t get stolen. You just can’t reserve one of the legendary/rare ones.
@@НикитаМорозов-т7у maybe I misunderstood the question sorry. If you have a charmander and want to buy a charmeleon without evolving you absolutely can. If you evolve any Pokémon though you have to discard the original card under your character piece.
WOW this version just makes so much thematic sense. The evolving seems a great idea.
I thought so too! It’s a great version. I also wish we had a Pokémon version of wingspan I think that would be so cool.
@@thediceyreview What have you done! Now I have to see if Koreans have it.
Finally! A comprehensive video of good quality explaining it clearly. Struggled with all the online translated rulebooks. This was spot on
Thanks so much I’m glad it was helpful!
What a wonderful idea to display the components of the game and highlight then when taking about them in so of your videos.
@@Naru-Maki thanks it adds a bit of work for sure but I like to be able to highlight. What’s in the box
@@thediceyreview well I for one appreciate it loads.
@@Naru-Maki awesome thanks so much!
Thank you so much for this! I attempted reading a google translated section for evolution like 6 times and still never really understood until now.
Absolutely glad it was helpful!
Maybe you need to read it 7 times.
I don’t understand how to get the evolved ones. Does that mean that some of the cost has to be paid for with discounts?
It was confusing when you said you were required to have the evolved spoke about in your hand, when you meant you have to have it reserved
Paul great review on this game
Thanks!

The Pokémon will stay in your reserve until you catch it. You don’t have to catch it if you don’t want to. Thanks!

@@Coalgolem thanks so much for the kind words! Glad it was helpful
how many cards are in this version? I need to buy sleeves when my copy arrives. thanks
watched the video. there's 90 + 5 + 5 . correct me if i'm wrong 😄
My copy had 91 total. I had a promo come with it.
@@thediceyreviewwhat is the promo card and how’d you get it?
If a player reaches 18 pts at the end of the round by evolving a Pokémon, do you still play the next round?
Can I get an evolution from a Pokémon by paying for it, without using the evolution method and thus not discarding the Pokémon that evolved?
I don’t believe so. I think the Pokémon has to be discarded.
@@thediceyreview why? Isn't it just buying a card?

Also, you said oddish when you meant gloom..
