Started collecting again recently with Evolving Skies. Just seeing older card pulls giving me nostalgia. I remember the days when wed visit the corner shop and my mum would buy me a base set booster pack ♥️♥️ she bought me a lot fair play. Every week I think I had one from the corner shop pretty much. Had a binder full of them, so many cards. Used to swap with the local friends anything I had duplicates of. They were all stolen from my house in my Pokémon official binder over 20 years ago 😭😭😭 I wish I still had them. Would love to collect those ones again, they were my pride and joy, just loved looking at them 😂 Rip to my 'shinies'.

I had that Lucario tin as a kid! I had a Lv. X card in it tho(the one with the sparkly silver borders). Mine was from 2008, not 2009(the card was from 2007). So I guess they just used the same tin twice lol

Those EX-era packs just hit different! Each better than the last and the art is just great! The Pidgeot and Moltres art are so good! Tbh I feel like the best tin was either the 500 or the 650 but both were way better than the 1000 one

My favorite is still Evolutions... just a great set overall, plus a lot more people out there can get their hand on it!! Which is what it is all about. So thats why mine is the Kanto tin!

the zeckrom tin is so nostalgic for me, i remember opening it when i was a kid and i still hav the zekrom promo but it’s creased really bad but black and white was very nostalgic for me

Tins and blisters seem to be the “safer” bet given how many hands some of these packages have touched. The dollar store ones are in terrible condition. At least for the one I got. I got a pallosand gx, and it was bent. It also had a wierd texture, so I’m worried they might be fake.

Those ex hits were unbelievable, one after another and the beautiful cracked ice holo to seal the deal. One thing that definitely caught my attention was the price of the packs added up were higher than two of the unopened tins including the 650. Seems like those tins might be good buys, I wonder how random the assortment of packs are in them. They're so old i guess it'd be hard to know for sure.

The packs in the small tins are weighed by the Pokémon company and the odds of pulling busted cards are actually Decently high and that can be convenient considering what packs you get in the tin
Absolutely loved the video buddy!! My favorite has to be the $500 tin hands down. The chances of great pulls was so high. Best pull for me has to be the Delta Species Pidgeot! I just loved the evolution as a kid. Maybe cause pigeons were everywhere and you could relate to magically transforming into a Pidgeot. Maybe it was just me hey b'y.
