I’m a new player and invested into a wonderful gardevoir ex deck. Granted it didn’t cost much but I realized shortly after that it would be changing dramatically. It’s such a fun deck, hoping to play it as long as possible. Great vid, opened up a lot of ideas and opportunities.
The issue is discarding your energy cards efficiently. With Refinement Kirlia rotating, it’s gonna be a little annoying outside of back to back Researches. It may be a stretch, but I might experiment with Rumbling Engine Revavroom since it discards energy and draws until you have a hand of 6.
I really like the idea of making this a more control deck oriented. I’d probably throw in a Fezandipiti ex and a couple of Professor’s Research to help with drawing cards. Maybe even a Squawkabilly ex could work. I’d also add another Munkidori, keep the Vessels, and take out the Moonlit Hill stadium. Overall, I think this deck could work as a solid B+ or maybe even an A-tier deck, especially if future expansions bring out any new cards that fit well with it
I like what you're thinking, in the addition of a Fez and/or squawk I would also look to include a copy of penny, as having a 2-prize liability like that can really hurt this deck. As for the Moonlit Hill I think Cycling Road would be a better fit.
Hey, man! Just wanna thank you so much! I got really inspired in your vid to make a change in my Raging Bolt Deck! I'm using latias instead of cornerstone ogerpon. and the deck is really amazing! Is there any other social media i can follow you? Will be looking forwards to more videos of yours!
Is there a reason why folks don’t use cycling road? Especially without the kirlia’s the draw support seems more useful than the healing from moonlit hill
I mentioned that in another comment thread and my deck's have been using cycling road a bit as they've developed, the moonlit hill is mostly here for the dragapult matchup as well as getting rid of damage out opponent will be moving with Munkidori
gardie is untouched post rotation. sup refinement for Ns zoroark ex or revavroom from base set scarlet violet. put in candys and maybe test with a grand tree build.
While that definitely is one way you can try and go at it, there are some significant differences. Not only are N's Zoroark and Revavroom different stage ones that would be taking up deck space (vs Kirlia being included from being in the Gardie line), but they are also liabilities. Zoroark being 2 prizes, but also they both have 2 retreat cost and aren't psychic, meaning they can easily be trapped in the active. And with Revavroom you need your hand size to be down to even use. As for the inclusion of candies, we all have an idea of how rare candy decks are going to fare with the new onslaught of item lock coming to the game. Though Grand Tree could definitely be another way to go to get those Gardevoir's going.
@@BluestoneTCG Ns ark being a 2n prizer means nothing when everydeck is gonna bs able to gust gardi/fez and one shot anyway. retreat cost means nothing when your playing switch cards post ro anyway due to stall popularity. revaroom is going to be able to draw two at least with a discard+ultraballs and vessels getting hand size down. you also only need one raltz on bench or if your scared of a donk you easily set two up as after rotation gardi plays 4-4 nest plus ultra.
@@jayman445 One of the purposes of Turo being here is to scoop up fez after use, as for OHKO on Gardie, a majority of decks are unable to do so, and the one's that can do not often play a high amount of gust, obviously there are exceptions to this, but every deck has bad matchups. And with this particular list we are more focused on control, if you would like to make a list with several switch cards and discarding requirements you are more than welcome to, as it's a game for everyone to enjoy as they like! Also, now I'm a bit confused as in your original comment you stated Gardevoir was untouched post rotation and proceeded to list off many changes to the decks structure. Nonetheless, this particular list is focused on controlling the field and making late game comebacks with the help of walls, single prizes, and some togekiss action if the math requires it. I have had success with this list on TCG Live, but if you've had a difficult time piloting it, there's a chance it doesn't match your play style, which is fine!
Absolutely! I was thinking of posting a video once a week but the algorithm seems to have liked ti when I was once every three days, me and my buddy actually made a Ceruledge/Macargo deck I was thinking of sharing!
Not a bad idea! You could probably cut the rabsca line and the togekiss line to increase consistency, then you would also get some space to fill from taking out rare candy!

Glad I could share some ideas, I hope you can find a thing or two to potentially added to your deck once rotation hits!
Same, same

Yeah that will be a big issue, I've been messing around with the stadium Cycling Road, basically a worse radiant greninja.

I don't have any other socials right now, but I'll include them in the future if I do!

I believe in Gardevoir ex

@@BluestoneTCG Great, bud! You have everything to be one of the biggest TCG channels! Will be enjoying the ride!
Ugh no refinement Kirlia sounds really rough
Yeah, this rotation will hurt Gardevoir quite a lot, turning the focus off the draw from kirlia could open up many routes we haven't seen yet though!
Use a 2-2 line of revaroom
