Yeah, Regulation F leaving Standard in March is going to be massive. The end of Pokemon Vs. The end of VSTARs. The end of Radiant Pokemon. The end of Lost Box. The end of VMAXes. The end of various cards to help Water and Dark decks. The end of all Sword and Shield cards, meaning Scarlet and Violet will be the only series left in Standard. This is more than the end of an era, this is the end of a very impactful rotation. Very sad to see it go.
@@matthewlorfeld5412 G forward has simply had far fewer outliers in power level compared to F block (and prior), so assuming something in Journey doesn't horribly ruin it, it seems prime for a great balance.
@@KyleMc16 thanks for the suggestion! I have heard a lot of people running Dudunsparce. Guess that would also be a nice replacement for Bibarel too. Are there any other support cards / Pokémon that you’d recommend adding to this Chien Pao deck in preparation for rotation?
Well. you will now be forced to be worried that there will be no Manaphy to protect your non-Teras because, even without Greninja, there's plenty of Pokemon that can attack your bench
Good riddance bro. Vstar abilities were so fuckin unfun. Looking at you regidrago. Mister "you lose turn 2 because i use an attack that requires 5 energy for 3 and wiped your whole board."
I do wonder if I'd put Lumineon V in the top 10 list somewhere. Ultra Ball to Lumineon V to Boss for game is just awful. As someone who despises playing against control decks, I'm happy that Pidgeot V rotates as well. Not that it's this incredible card or anything, but it's nice that there's one less safety card against decking out.
As someone who plays Gardevoir ex, both because Gardevoir is one of his favorites and due to loving harder, more versatile playstyles the loss of F Block Kirlia will hurt more than anything. Holy crap.
as someone looking into starting pokemon tcg and that would like to play gardevoir because I like the pokemon... should I get the "structure deck"? can I replace kirlia at all?
@alicepbg2042 Zoroark ex from Prismatic Evolutions is allowing Radiant Greninja's ability to discard any card to draw two. Only issue is, you have to evolve it from a Zorua so you have to account for adding Zoruas on top of adding Zoroark exs. You shouldnt also outright count Kirlias out, otherwise evolving into Gardevoir will be too rare-candy reliant. The base League Battle Deck set for Gardevoir ex/Mew ex is good out of the box but way stronger modified.
New to tcg, i think it Will be fun and more simple building decks with counters going forward as doesn't have to cover such a broad range of plays. Most of the decks I've struggled against are going in that rotation, so now I just need to wait and see if the people have the smarts to build their own decks and create new strategies instead of just playing highly played decks with slight changes.
This rotation will be tough for a lot of players. But i believe this will make the meta more diverse and more healthy. a lot of players will be scrambling to find new decks they like though. Either way, rotation will introduce new decks because of others rotating.
You'll eventually get enough crafting points, I'd say they are worth it if you play a lot. Some of the people of my locals are considering buying some of those to use for only a few months.
This feels a lot worse than E block, which was basically just the Mew VMax deck and Path to the Peak. Losing the Ninja is devastating for so many decks. Water pokemon are completely irrelevant with no Palkia, Irida, and Ninja. Loved the creativity of Lost Zone, but was annoying to play against. Losing DTE is big, too. Makes a lot of decks unplayable. Losing dark patch kinda kills Roaring Moon. Yikes.
I can't believe you didn't mention Radiant Charjabug, the most important card we're losing this rotation. It will leave a huge void not even you can fill, and everyone knows how good you are when it comes to filling things.
Losing the lost zone engine right after the eeveelutions feels so bad, like it was the perfect oportunity for multi energy decks besides giratina and now i dont even know how to make them work besides crispin with sparking crystal
Pilot are there any cards rotating that you think we’ll never see as strong of effects again? Something like scoop up net from d block or genesect v from e block. For me personally, my mind goes to forest seal stone, but I’d love to know your thoughts

My local TCG shop gives bulk cards away for free give your local shop a call or stop by.
I mean gonna miss a lot of cards from here. But, till this day the total number of ex you can play in standard format is quite low. I hope they bring tons by the time the rotation happens
okay so I'm new to the pokemon tcg but i have a question and it might be a dumb one but if anyone can answer for me it would be awesome. whats the best way to search up the regulations to find whats legal for tournament play? like for yugioh we have the neuron app which is pretty straight forward( plus its an open format so all cards are pretty much legal) but im not too familiar on where this format starts, 'F' is leaving so 'G' and 'H' are in but what sets are those? and whats the best way to look up card lists?

Thorton is the only strategic card so to speak out of most of these. Double Energy is busted and iraplacable in my opinion will be the worst thing gone tbh. The rest they could easily replace. Clawf wont be missed its stupid. Some V Ability are straight up broken. Still didnt see play sometimes. And tells be bad design. i agree Heavy Ball is also basically played everywhere. The Ticket is kinda meh since you have to play multiple copies and you can still prize your good cards afterwards making your situation even worse. Dark Patch wont be missed its way to strong for a item card. I mean Bolt needs a supporter for that. Irida was sometimes only played for the item search which is weird. But what else does Water even have? Unlike Pocket where it has straight up broken cards. But yea every Type needs to have some good cards. Cart is decent in some basic decks but is it really necessary anyway? Charizard isnt even played the Bear is tbh. Most of the Time. Yeaa if you really think about it this rotation will be only for good. And next one is bosses order and even crazier cards in my opinion.
