I understand where the couples parents who are raising their grandchildren is coming from because I lost my daughter tragically four years ago and instantly became mom to her then six year old daughter, and you don’t have time to grieve, and then there is not only the loss of your child, but then there’s the loss of the relationship between yourself and your grandchild because now you’re becoming that child parent, and like she said, it is a blessing to have the child, but the grieving process is hard because you have to make sure that the child’s grief is primary and that your grief is secondary. God bless and keep them.

Relieved to see that the judge refused the plea agreement. Don't know what sentence the limo owner got, but it could never be long enough. He didn't seem too upset in the courtroom, he knew what he did, taking the sticker off the limo. Hope he gets the hell beat out of him everyday in prison.
She could have mentioned their existence without naming them since the creator wants to give them privacy. It was two cars welded together, and it had mechanical problems right from the start. It had been inspected and was written off with a failure grade. The company owner had disregarded the warning given by the inspector that all of the limos belonging to this company were too dangerous to be driven on the road. @@kaorii10 I'm not coming at anybody. I was asking a question and I did not know that they wanted privacy. Had I heard that in the video at all I would have never posted the response that I did. However that was never mentioned in the video. And it should have been probably. Because I don't think I'm the only one asking why all of the victims were not covered.
My heart goes out to each of you guys left behind. I know the angels must have been meant to be together. This is unimaginable and devastating to us strangers so I can’t even go there. Please accept my deepest condolences and know I will pray for each of you.
Canadian here.
Truly compassionate and professional presentation of such a heart break!
I followed this when it was happening live and over the years. I’m grateful for the update.
I send so many blessings of comfort and hope.
I don’t know if I heard of this story before this week. This breaks my heart and makes me cry. I’m so sorry for the losses.
Subrina Dhammi did an excellent job on this report.
Absolutely sublime job with a very delicate task. She is extraordinary!!
This one (and the Taconic crash) really got to me. So avoidable! So many families effected. Driving and car maintenance should be much safer by now.
I never heard of the Taconic crash and looked it up. Yet another horrific story.😥
@@HammerDownGirlthere’s an excellent documentary called There something wrong with aunt Diane about that.
This is such a horrific story. I never even heard about this. God be with these families. How do you even process this..😢
I understand where the couples parents who are raising their grandchildren is coming from because I lost my daughter tragically four years ago and instantly became mom to her then six year old daughter, and you don’t have time to grieve, and then there is not only the loss of your child, but then there’s the loss of the relationship between yourself and your grandchild because now you’re becoming that child parent, and like she said, it is a blessing to have the child, but the grieving process is hard because you have to make sure that the child’s grief is primary and that your grief is secondary. God bless and keep them.
Devastating. Thank you for the small details.
3 other people were killed. They aren't small details. They didn't have to name them but it's heartbreaking that their lives weren't even mentioned. 💔
One of the heartbreaking stories ever!! Thank you Sabrina for sharing this. I still truly do no believe justice was served fully in this case! 💔💔 God bless them all! 💔💔💔
Relieved to see that the judge refused the plea agreement. Don't know what sentence the limo owner got, but it could never be long enough. He didn't seem too upset in the courtroom, he knew what he did, taking the sticker off the limo. Hope he gets the hell beat out of him everyday in prison.
This reporter did an amazing job! I truly hope she was honored in some way!
Such a heartbreaking story. Thank you for sharing all these peoples stories. Will never forget those 7th floor days in deFredenburgh. RIP.
🥰🥰
Rip Scott (limo driver) Brian and James pedestrians that were killed in this tragedy as well. I don’t understand why you didn’t include them
Yeah I notice that too. That’s messed up. I don’t remember them mentioning this person either Rachael Cavosie.
Those families have requested privacy. The reporter is respecting that, so don’t come for her.
She could have mentioned their existence without naming them since the creator wants to give them privacy.
In the video she says the driver was going over 100 miles an hour as if he was reckless and irresponsible 0:16, yet in a comment here she says it was due to the brakes going out. So he's a victim too, right?
💔
Excellent reporting👍
Prayer for all who are affected by this senseless tragedy. My heart aches thru out this video……
What about the 2 pedestrians.....they were apart of this tragedy too ? Nobody talks about these 2 .......such a tragedy for all these young lives 😢
Thank you for asking - the families of the victims in the parking lot have remained private.
@@SubrinadhammiIt would have been respectful to mention all the other victims.
They matter.
They could have remained private and at the same time acknowledge the whole tragedy instead of being surprised to hear about the others from kind people in the comments. 💔
SO SAD. SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
UNBELIEVABLE TRAGEDY 😢
Heartbreaking! Prayers for everyone
The reporter did an amazing job preparing for this report, interviewing the families and honoring the victims of the crash. 💜🙏.
Thank you so much. My goal was to honor the victims and share their stories for the families.
From Atlanta, I remember this story and it was so devastating to hear, but now, meeting the families... bless you all. I'm not sure I understood the Meineke store's involvement... is the implication that they were asked to fake it by the owner? Shouldn't someone there be in jail? Great journalism though. A very understanding, sensitive young reporter, good job young lady!
This reminds me of the People who contacted me after my sons murder. Right away they wanted me to seek revenge so I avoided them like the plague.
There is this weird thought that somehow i, the mother, would somehow Feel better if I could get me some revenge. They are wrong about that, I Know this with every ounce of my being.
The loss of a child is something no one Can imagine.
Mavis' involvement is still being investigated. Thank You for the kind words and for watching my report.
@@Subrinadhammi Thank you for your excellent interview. You were so compassionate and kind to the families.
This is unimaginable, but compounded by the loss of your FOUR DAUGHTERS and their partners???? Oh my GOD!!!😢😢😢
i never heard of this case.. heartbreaking I just saw the pictures of the limo i hope someone was held responsible for this horrific accident
The way they presented this was confusing -
So……let me get this right……..he’s TOTALLY responsible for killing 20 people….ruined sooo many families lives, children growing up without parents……and ALL he got was a decade or so of jail time? 😡😡😡😡😡
Dude look up his Dad. Shahed Hussain. He’s an FBI super informant who used to set up other Muslims for terrorist charges at the behest of the FBI. He’s the guy that ran the company and signed everything. That’s why nothing happened.
Somettimes things happen and we dont understand why, God has a purpose and the living souls are with him. May they rest in heaven. Prayers to the family and friends
How , how sad.. seeing this coverage about all the victims was very sad!! They were in their best moments of there lives.. hearing there loved ones speak , my heart breaks! How devastating. This could have been prevented and the guy responsible needs to be locked up for ever…
This is such a sad sad tragedy, may God give you the strength to get through this. From God we come to God, we all shall return. ❤ African American woman 50s generation. Peace & Blessings.
Extremely heartbreaking 💔 🙌🏼
This is a beautiful tribute to those who died in this horrible accident. So different from the way other crime shows deal with families and victims. I feel like we really will remember them. We got to learn so much about who they were other than just being names in a story. I hope the families continue to find comfort in these beautiful memories. It's our memories that keep them alive for us. ❤
How tragic & sad! The newly wedded guys mom is very pretty. And the mom in the wheel chair has such a sweet & soothing voice. So many young lives gone too soon!
Nicely put tog tribute for all lost in the tragic accident. I completely felt all their pain whn ea one spoke. My ex was killed on Sep 2, 2017 in a totally preventable accident as well. No one should have to endure such a horrible experience because of negligence. Having to start your life all over again suddenly is such a traumatic experience.
Beautiful & well done. My heart breaks & pray for everyone touched by this tragedy. 🙏
Whatta a touching tribute to the victims of such a heart wrenching tragedy. Because of the interwoven connections amongst this group, EVERYBODY lost EVERYBODY.
But losing 4 daughters and 3 sons-in-law, at once.....I don't know how you come back from that. Life can be so cruel.
I pray their loved ones find peace.
Im so sorry this happened and my heart goes out to all the families. It sounds like the Limo shouldnt have been on the road that day. A preventable tragedy. Heartbreaking! I pray justice prevails.
It is so sad that the people responsible will not be charged for every one of those who passed his sentence will not be enough. I know it will not bring those beautiful soles back. RIP everybody involved
Wow. I pray for their families. ❤❤❤
I still dont understand how they all died when the limo stayed upright it doesn't make sense.
If you look at the crushed limo and consider the speed it was going , it is self explanatory. Also , were any of the victims wearing seat belts ? It must have been horrific for the many responders .
Extraordinarily well done! Brava...and thank you for the heartfelt sensitivity and empathy and honoring each individual's process.
How heartbreaking. So many angels watching over.
This was such a bizarre story.
Idk how anyone can watch this without balling like a baby. Just the pure tragity of it and all the loses. It's so sad!!
Wow never heard this story but so sorry for their loss.. despite the obvious- this was beautifully done and can tell you really did your research.
"Come to the house the kids are dead"... "I smell my daddy"-- geezus speechless.
My god the family that lost 4 kids.. they are some strong people. I couldnt imagine. Dad doesnt seem to be doing good out of all of them..the husband's passing with them. This has to be the saddest thing ive heard in a long time..
The criminal lack of appropriate vehicle maintenance, lack of seat belts, speed and inexperience. They will never be forgotten.
I wish they had included the families of the driver and the pedestrians who were killed. Other than that, this was a nice remembrance of those killed in this completely unnecessary, horrible event.
I just read in a comment they chose to remain private. I questioned it also.
I know their pain, I lost my son tragically two years ago, and until now, I’m dead alive, where is God?
Sending thoughts and prayers to all of the families. What a tragic loss, may they all rest in peace 🙏
4 daughters wow what a blow to this family so sadddd
Since the day I heard of this is never left my memory. 😢
❤ God bless these families, Moving on.
They were at such a great time of their lives. The driver can’t have enough consequences to amend this horrific crime
Sorry to hear of this. I went to school in that town.
What about the bus driver? he died also and had a wife and family there weren’t really acknowledged
They want to remain private.
Did I miss it, they forgot to mention the people in the way of this crash. They are to be remembered as well. 🙂xox to all.
Definitely 💔
My heart was aching listening to this , the reporter did an outstanding job with this.
Omg! My heart breaks for these parents and family members who have lost such beautiful souls. All of them were so wonderful loving people. What a tragic loss. They should still be here living their lives. So so very sad. 🤗🤗🤗
All 18 people were doing was the right thing. And two people died enjoying a quiet Saturday at a small country store and cafe. A tragic loss. Prayers for the families. Now and forever.
I take some solace in knowing that in the end, they were all together. Absolutely heartbreaking.
Such beautiful families and so much tragedy. Prayers to all of you who miss their loved ones every day, but demonstrate to us the strength you all have.
This was an excellent report! She has wonderful career ahead.
My God… horrifying story…💔
Where the rest there is 3 more lives gone.
Obviously , the families preferred privacy for their grief .
SO SAD THIS TRAGEDY😭 BUT I MISS ONE PART THATS IS THE DRIVER! WHY IS HE NOT MENTIONED IN THIS DOCUMENTARY????
Death came like lightning. We are with you. In prayer. May the spark of ❤ replace the void in your lives
..may it grow and fill your lives Rip little angels
Why would a limo be going at a 100 mi. an hour? Really?
It was two cars welded together, and it had mechanical problems right from the start. It had been inspected and was written off with a failure grade. The company owner had disregarded the warning given by the inspector that all of the limos belonging to this company were too dangerous to be driven on the road. Had this owner listened to the inspector and not cared about money, these people would still be alive today
Failed inspections, but limo company people did not care. Gained speed going down a hill, could not stop. Hit another vehicle as well. 100% preventable.
omg... unbelievable
@@cathycoryell2351 absolutely
The brakes had gone out and I imagine they were driving downhill gathering speed with every second that passed
