Anyone part of me thinks that this was a last dance type of thing. A way of allowing Mercedes to continue doing what they need to do and having a romantic last season with Lewis and fulfilling a childhood dream for Lewis. This move I think is more about Lewis going into retirement than about winning or losing. Just what I think.

I understand that, without his agreement, several publications have put out press releases earlier today that he's driving for Ferrari next year. This is true and he has signed a contract with Ferrari for 2025. He will be driving for Ferrari next year.
