Hi every one back at a farm here doing vermin control with my HW77K .22 springer 12ftlb with the new Infiray TD70L night vision scope from Scott Country International.
The HW 77k in .22 is my favorite air rifle! This thing is completely made about of steel. The quality and accuracy is unbelievable! I am using the JSB EXACT JUMBO 15.89grain pellets. Thanks for sharing always a pleasure to see springer hunting video. My life as a young teenager was completely obsessed with airgun hunting on my grandparents land. I spent all my holidays there till other things got "interesting" but even today every now and then I lat a pellet connect. Good shooting!
where i live, its illegal to kill any bird that is considered a Scavenger Bird, We have both crows and ravens along with seagull's , eagles, hawks, two types, owls, two types. But when they become large, obnoxious, the bigger birds takes control .. a Really great balance of nature. Your shooting is really great, and the vids and explanations also. Thanks for the vid..
Hi simon great bit of kit i love 77 best springer ever made ive got an old 1982 77k very accurate rifle your doing a great job out there on the farms all the best fred.
I've started to move back to springers. Recently got a HW98 and a TX200HC really enjoying using them both. As you said all you need is a tin of pellets and the gun. Nothing else.
Springers don't get the respect that is due them. Been shooting a Benjamin Regal NP for years, deadly accurate rifle, with a decent scope. Yours is top shelf product, you always have the best stuff!!! Thanks for another great video.
HW77 brought me here ,i had one in he 80s ,and I aimed at a crow in a tree, and he dropped out of the tree as i was going to shoot ,i followed him in the scope and gave him a bit of lead and squeeze the trigger ,my bro in law then stood up shouting "what a shot" and to my surprise i had hit the crow ,i had to give it a follow up shot but i could not believe it ,i knew then i loved that springer, great videos and marksmanship from you sir and i can truly see why you have over 40k subs ,well you have another now 👍
Someone has beaten me to… quite definitely the quietest spring loader I’ve heard. Super shooting, can’t wait to see what you’ve got coming up. Stay safe , good luck and God bless , R. ❤
You can put an old bicycle under a world class cyclist and they will be competitive, you can put a 35 year old springer in the hands of an expert riflemen and if your vermin, you don't stand a chance! The tool is driven by operator! Simon, your thumbnail to this video was chilling, the stealth, and concentration that picture captures would send even the bravest of rats scurrying for the hills! Excellent video, we have crows in Wisconsin but no Magpies, it seems magpies can be as destructive as crows also. Have a great weekend!!
Hi there simon lvly picher as1👍👍always my friend the springer as got lvly sound to it bro brilliant shooting 👌👍there down lvly and clean brilliant job my friend thank you so much for your time i have to look in to the springer bro👍👍thank you god🙏bless bro give our jack big hug from us all happy pestcontrol my friend be safe simon😁👍please🛸
Good shooting as ever , the rifle / scope combinations are endless now, NV and thermal technology is so fast paced it’s like a mobile phone, obsolete in a couple of years. The NV I’ve got is over 3 years old but I’m content with it.
Great vis as alwaya simon, have you checked for zero shift, with cap open or closed however,it was zeroed ,with the old photons ,if we zeroed with cap closed then shot with it open ,there was a zero shift, rgds steve
I’d really like to get an under lever. Problem is, is here in canada, if it’s under a certain power, there are basically almost no rules, but over it, amd it’s treated like a firearm. I have a closet full of firearms of all sorts, so I’d like something less restrictive, but I think most of those are over. I don’t remember off hand how many Jules, but it basically works out to under 450f/s.
As always pal great breathing techniques just like an ex-Squaddie. I wated to email, you but you don't display one? Take care and give Jack a pat for me
Hi Simon! Great vids, thank you for all of them.. I asked this question on your recent video uploaded to the Night Vision Show, not realised you wouldn't see it yourself..Would you say overall, as a platform, which is better, the Hikmicro gear or the Infiray? I have a Cheetah day/night scope, really love it on my air rifles, and was going to get a Thunder or Panther for my FAC rifle so all the attachments etc were interchangeable but Infiray seems to have a loyal following and they are the first to market a 1280*1024 resolution thermal so now I'm a bit less decided...?
To be fair pal i have never tried a thermal scope from either brand you mention so i couldn't really tell you what i think but i do know the Thermtec thermal scope is honestly brilliant.
Im a long time watcher of your videos. Very well done always. I missed what you mentioned regarding the longer barrel of your hw77 vs the shorter 77k. Do you have a preference? In canada weihrauchs are getting tough to find so I’m trying to decide which hw77 model myself.
Hi Simon ,great vid really enjoying seeing pest control with a springer, could you tell me where you bought the dual weaver scope mount I need one with mounts on opposite sides for torch and rangefinder many thanks.
@@shaunharris3690 i bought this may be 25 years ago but i think if you google them or may be ask at your gun shop they should be able to get you one Shaun.
Quality never gets to old to use. Its like revisiting a dear old friend. Good shooting and Stay Safe.
Cheers Peter.

Ye Jim the same here really but we measure in ftlb so any thing under 12ftlb you don't need a licence for.
Kool Airgun 🎯👍🏻🎃✌🏻

simon great video mate.
couldn't hear what you said about the spring.
im thinking of getting a new spring for my 97K.
be interested on your thoughts
Ye Richard if you get an original one it should be fine pal.
Hi Simon! Great vids, thank you for all of them..

The top hat and spring guide are they regular aftermarket ones or weihrauch option extras, very nice vid
Ye you can buy all different makes now pal but fitted right do make a big difference

Ye pal i like the longer barrels to be fair they don't really shoot much better just a personal thing 👍
Hi Simon ,great vid really enjoying seeing pest control with a springer, could you tell me where you bought the dual weaver scope mount I need one with mounts on opposite sides for torch and rangefinder many thanks.
That mount actually comes with the TD70 scope pal.
thanks for reply Simon , ill keep looking great channel mate@@simon6ppc246
If the zombie apocalypse happens I'm coming and finding you. That way I would have the best chance of survival lol
You can be the first Antony i may be have enough room for one or two more 😂👍
What was your pellet choice there? If you said, I didn't hear it. Worked well whatever they were.
Ye sorry Ridin it was a 15.89 JSB.
Simon, question: what barrel twist are you shooting in your 223 Sako?
Its an 8 twist Charles 24 inch standard factory Sako.
Great shooting quick ? Wasn’t sure the nv scope would handle the recoil of a springer?
Ye easily pal with out a doubt
Hi Simon great vid again I shoot a hw110 what you think of them
Thanks John and ye i have never owned one but shot them at the range and they seen brilliant, to be fair all HW's just shoot pal..
Can i ask what you do with the birds and foxes after
They get buried Peter to be fair
At 6:12 you say that the HW77k SE .22 has a shorter barrel than the .177 version, I don’t understand is that a miss quote?
Ye some do paul have shorter barrels
@@simon6ppc246 ok thank you I didn’t know that.
Comfy shooting in the hay..u getting soft hobis kid
Lol spent plenty a time in the hay in the barn Bob when i was younger
Hi Simon
What's the block behind the scope ring?
Its an arrester block Shaun that stops the scope creeping due to the recoil.
@simon6ppc246 hi how can I get hold of one?
@@shaunharris3690 i bought this may be 25 years ago but i think if you google them or may be ask at your gun shop they should be able to get you one Shaun.
Hi Simon, is that a Bolton accent?
No Chris lol
Is it fac?
12ftlb
02:00 "first magpie down". that was a magpie? lol just had to say it, sorry i am drunk, 03:33, that is a magpie.
At least you should be sober now Craig
I do not understand why the birds are being killed.
Google it you will read all about it..
Excellent work Brother. Just out of curiosity, do you still have your very first springer? Thanks for the content.
No pal i don't i think it fell to bits lol.
Excellent. Thanks man, have a good one.@@simon6ppc246
Is your lens cover down while you're taking the shots?🤣
It sure was, it has a hole in it if you look closely 👀
