    I like the side-by-side comparison. I'll be curious to hear how long the battery and the overall mower hold up.

    Greenworks has several models with multiple variations. I got my 21” self-propelled model today from Best Buy for $479 and it came with 2 batteries (1x 4A, 1x2A). Mulch bag is black and has a very nice handle set up with levers and speed adjuster in the center of horizontal handle bar. Did my first mow in the dark and I was impressed with the LED guide light and quality of the cut. Got about 35-40 mins from the 4A battery. Love this thing so far.

    Hi Andy, I just got rid of the exact same TORO you have, and was going to buy the Greenworks. I've been using my neighbor's GW and I LOVE it. QUESTION: Does your model have a battery level indicator? My neighbor's different model has the start button and battery level indicator up on the handle.

    Nice video! My concern with anything battery powered is always the battery life. My Honda mower will go a decade easy, but I wonder how long a battery powered mower will go until it doesn't hold enough juice to finish the yard.

      I've always been a Milwaukee guy and I've had a good life out of those batteries. I too am curious about how long this battery lasts over time. Subscribe if you haven't yet because I have more videos coming out.

    Can you fully charge the battery, mow the whole lawn, then report on how much battery is left?
    Then, at the end of the season, do the same experiment with the same battery?

      That would probably help get a rough estimate, but there are other factors that would be hard to account for, like how tall and thick the grass is when you cut it. If it's taller and thicker, it will use up the battery faster. Grass grows differently (thicker and faster in Spring) throughout the year so a comparison of like you suggested wouldn't be the whole picture. But it would be a great starting point.

    Did you ever notice the color and label differences between the photos on amazon (your link) and the one you have? I wonder if the photos on amazon represent a newer version of this model from the one you have. It's deceiving. Who wants a WHITE grass bag that won't stay white? Thanks.

    when you are going to turn. let go of the self-propelled handle.

    • @diyhda
      @diyhda  Месяц назад

      That's what you have to do, unfortunately. So it's more things you have to think about and worry about. Even when you let go, there is a slight delay in getting it into 'neutral', so you have to let go a couple feet before you actually want to turn.
