The type of track you hear at around 2am at a rave when all your "medicinal enhancements" are in full effect and everyone else is just absorbed into their own vibe but yet the whole place is ONE UNITED. Around the late 90's era was the best time, everyone was on the same level, now....SMFH
Beautifully said. You could just feel it all around you, gave me such a sense of peace within myself and with everyone around me. No fronts, no shady ass shit, no fake ass "how to" crap, no cheesy, stupid attitudes. It was real, it was powerful, it changed my life from someone consumed by bitterness, anger, and seething hatred to a caring, empathetic, and loving person, just to name a few of many things that still have left its impression on me today and probably will until I take the final left hand turn. The scene will always be a part of me, it will always have a place in my heart, and my love for this music is just as strong today as it was back then. I have no doubt most, if not all of us who were there and got to experience and celebrate life and freedom in ways that only those who experienced it for themselves would understand, share this sentiment in their own ways. Even so, I hope there is something out there that is hiding from all the fakery and bullshit, if not for us, certainly for the younger generation. Peace and love my friend, I hope all is well with you.

I was born in 92, so missed the club experiences of this era. The fact these songs were able to be enjoyed in clubs though is a testament to the shortened attention spans of today's club goers, at least here in the US. A goldfish is more patient than most peers in my age group when they go out. Don't even get me started with the tik Tok generation now coming of age. Wish we could see a surge of respecting the moment, vibe and music in today's club culture.

That's why i NEVER got rid of any record that I've ever bought still to this day, i spin at parties and break out tracks on vinyl back from 1997 and rock the place proper, people ask me all the time if I'm playing some new tunes! Love that feeling!
