My son @45 was diagnosed with Stage4 high risk Multiple Myeloma. Had a stem cell transplant in April and now on maintenance. He works out every day. I wish you the best

My dad had multiple myeloma. His doctors gave him 2 to 4 years and he lived 11 years. He was a fighter to the end. God bless all those fighting this battle.

There was a tumour in the sinus cavity, that was pressing on his optic nerve. That’s why his eye was dropping.
He will be back on the show in time for US Thanksgiving on November 23.

Whoa! Good eye you have! I never even noticed at all, I'm so glad that they caught it in time and was able to get it treated and that he's okay now.
Glad to see Christian back, missed him but thought he waa off doing a Broadway play..i did noticed the droopy eye in his last scenes with Phyllis..and was wondering if he had a bout of Palsy. I'm very happy he's in remission, i hope you keep healthy (Michael Baldwin) you're an asset to Y&R.❤

My husband was diagnosed with mm in 2012... stage 4. Unfortunately, even though we thought his cancer was in remission and had been taking oral cancer drugs, it came back at the end of the summer of 2020. ☹️
My dad died from multiple myeloma in 1999. He had it for 2 years. I hope things r getting better .

Multiple myeloma is not a *common* cancer, it's actually *rare* , but it is highly researched and many advancements in diagnosis and treatment have developed over the years.
My oldest brother had it, and I was just diagnosed with MGUS, which is a precursor to Multiple myeloma & some other blood and marrow cancers.

Im happy to hear you are doing well. I was worried. These clip you can't believe them sometimes. Loved you l had breast cancer . Im cancer free 12yer, my husband had cancer to they did know what kind he had until he was almost gone. That show us how MUCH THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE to do with cancer now. 2009. Was year we both had cancer together, l miss my husband so much he was only 49. I pray for all cancer patients all over the world.
My bio dad had that cancer.
it seems like all of us gonna die from it. Everyday it's someone diagnosed with a different type of cancer and no cures in sight. Sad and scary
There is a cure. Drug companies don't want the cure released because "the cure" would bankrupt them. They would much rather let people waste away with this dreaded disease. 😮😢😮

A person at my work spotted my cancer, said i better get it looked at, it turned out to be Melanoma. it started out as a spot that turned nasty looking. but was taken off just in time. Don't just ignore, get it looked at.
So was it real or just a story line that he had cancer
@irmanino9489 - Both. On the show, his character had cancer, a storyline that was later dropped.
In real life, he was just off the show for awhile due to having cancer.

When I found out he had cancer. I have always loved his acting, which is to keep out of everyone
S business on the show. But I never dream put that he was so sick. I really have always loved him, his chatacter, and his tv wife Loren. Who is gorgeous, by the way. I have to say though, and you can call me what ever you want. When I was watching all of them on another show, and I believe that I read it, I was heart sick and shocked to find out about his sexual preferances. It just knocked me over. You can usually tell when someone is gay. Boy he sure fooled me. I still think he is one of the most important players on the show. But I can't look at him the same way. I apologize, but I have to be honest. I am very sorry to here he may be sick. I hope he will get the help he needs. Good luck to you Michael... Sincerely in Christ Kathryn

Sadly multiple myeloma is incurable. It is chronic
He said in this interview that he's in remission.
