Hedera Hashgraph is a next-generation blockchain designed to meet the rising demand of blockchain solutions. @@robertlucidomusic Hedera has an inherently higher throughput, lower latency, faster speed to finality, etc. than ETH...all while retaining the security and stability of the network. It's simply superior technology. ETH is old-tech.

This is a good overview of Hedera - and well presented too with helpful graphics. A few errors:
HBAR transactions are 1/100th of a cent
TPS is actually throttled to 10k - it can do six-figure tps
When mentioning Hbar you showed the Hedera Hashgraph logo rather than the Hbar coin symbol.
Overall, very good 👍
Super helpful critiques. I actually thought it was throttled up to 10 TPS based on the type of transactions details needed, I didn't know it could actually do up to 1Mil. Thanks for pointing all these out Coinman. -Kris
@@exodus Hey Kris, Hedera can do 100k+ tps (not 1million afaik) in a single shard. When the network shards the tps is practically limitless. The 10k 'throttle' is to keep operating costs down while the extra capacity is not needed.
BTW, Hedera are some way off needing to implement sharding, but when they do, the network remains aBFT secure!
@@exodus -- Actually, the bottleneck of Hedera Hashgraph is well beyond 100k-250k. The restraint on the algorithm is the speed of the internet since hardware isn't bottleneck. The faster the internet will get, the more TPS we shall be able to see under a single shard. In their initial testing, a GPU could verify 1 million signatures per second. That was 2 years ago and I don't know about you, but GPUs came a long way since then. (March 2018 when they made their public announcement of their public ledger and posted results)

The presentation said "at a fastest levels" a speed of 10k. So it can in theory do 10k at max. That's it's TOP speed.

Hedera isn't a threat to anyone/anything who doesn't have a vested interest in previous generation tech. Even then, it's an opportunity for most projects that have utility (via the Hedera Consensus Service.) There's no need to build your own dapp networks.

Being actually decentralized, for Bitcoin atleast. Also, not a real comparison when you're not even using (Bitcoin's) Lightning network as comparison. Also Bitcoin is adopted all over the world, noone uses Hedera
