Mana has skyrocketed to $0.65 today. I’m not a gamer, but I showed it to my boys and they are stoked about it. I’m merely a mana investor.

You should be able to mine MANA while walking around Decentraland
Sure...The only way 4 them 2 increase users, otherwise it simply feels like a make-believe lonely world.
The fact it’s based around NFT has me in
Imagine selling space to companies in which they can build there own projects and virtually share their work with people from all over the world.. for example, architecture.. you could have an entire city built in a 3D environment and have a virtual meeting in the space for which you can take a tour.. or a tech company that installs systems on cars.. you could have a virtual meeting in which you can show off your products in that VR space without actually traveling and doing an in person demo for that equipment.. not sure if anyone is developing such a thing for corporate use structured around VR but that could be revolutionary for real estate, architects and simple product demos for companies trying to demo products without traveling or going to shows.
Ovr??
Imagine an mmo that was fun to play though that was attached to crypto. The problem with crypto games is they’re basically just sandbox facebook messengers. But an actually good mmo attached to crypto would be a game changer

It is. It’s Metaverse time to shine.
I appreciate the style of @decentraland. The team has created cartoons, cartoons and distributed land, which are a good foundation for subsequent production. Because the space of the imagination is infinite, teams can bring more than economic satisfaction to the discovery of the metasverse by making a stronger collaborative team. Decentraland has a bright future. As the origin of everything, land is inseparable from people. Virtual space is the construction of virtual characters

Just now finding this... still buying. I believe in this concept. Almost like an adult Minecraft.
this is literally 500 steps back from minecraft.
I feel the currency set up has the potential to cut a lot of people out of using Decentraland....I haven't had the chance to jump in and look around, but just from the video alone it seems that the cost of land is going to be prohibitive...on top of that, the block chain currency seems to be quite unstable...I suspect a lot of people are interested purely from a speculative angle, i.e. they are just in it to make money, not necessarily to build communities that people want to be part of. I might be wrong, but in addition to the graphics it just doesn't seem to be that appealing at the moment (I've been in SL for 15 years and am now enjoying VRChat and Final Fantasy XIV)
Hit 1.45 CAD and made 890 profit in 2 days. Pretty huge profit potential. I own 1,400 MANA can’t wait for it to explode.

Im just waiting till a big twitch streamer plays this and it goes viral, Is there a possibility that Decentraland can be on steam? that would give it a lot more audience too
Yes this can definitely be streamed!
What if someone pulls the plug on the servers running decentraland?
Hi Arjun 👋🏼 That would be concerning. Fortunately, you've nothing to worry about there. Unless someone pulls the plug on the internet for the whole world (which is possible I suppose) then Decentraland will still be running. That's because it's built on the Ethereum network, a globally distributed network of computers that each store a copy of the blockchain they run. So if one computer goes down, then others will continue to propagate the network. Cool right? -SL
@@exodus you may be right but isn’t decentraland like a separate application that runs on its own servers and it USES etherium network to store the details like who owns what in decentraland landscape? Not sure how it works underneath.
@@exodus I bet $$$ the Fed would pull the plug on the Internet to stop USD from collapsing in on itself
What will the benefits of owing virtual land??I just don’t get it!
Hey JB, just like with real estate, the land can be bought and sold on the market which means as it fills up, then you can sell it for more. Think of it more as a collectible rather than real land.
-Kris

@@mrhanker8691 that’s a really good point! They need more users. They need to develop it more, better graphics. What if you can put on a VR headset and graphics be like PS VR. Then I’m 100 percent sold on this
My understanding is that land costs $5800 in Decentraland, and $880 in Sandbox. I may have to start in Sandbox.
Go kick sand
So - for example:
I go to a club. Entry is lets say 2 dollars. Then I have to make a transaction on the ethereum chain with fees up to over 100 dollar?
Pls help - I dont get it 😭
On which criteria is the voting power distributed? If its solely based on token and size the land that you own then something its missing in this equation
I'm still not quite understanding this place. so its like a sims Minecraft game that you have to pay USD to get anything in it? because one would have to convert their USD into crypto first, then they can use the crypto to buy in digital world stuff like space, cloths and other marketing assets, yes?
and in this digital world, one can't simply earn crypto, right? one would have to earn it outside the digital world and then input it into the digital world so it can be used. is what I am lead to believe.
You can earn crypto in the digital world, sure. You might need an initial investment, that's true. I'd think of it more as gamifying investing. Plus NFTs make your least-favorite relatives argue during the holidays. Grab some popcorn and an NFT and enjoy! -SL
I don't really understand it or get its appeal, but I bought a $1,000 worth of mana because I can see that other people will use it a lot.
how about the fact that in about 30 years we might able to upload our mind online and actually leave Physical Reality (which might actually virtual) for a Virtual reality of our own making with endless possibilities. This is huge because it's the start of it
How much is your mana worth now? Just curious to know
Isn't this literally just Second Life with less moderation?
It looks almost the same. I remember in second life I took my pants off and couldn't put them back on. Fun times
that's literally the appeal
That's how much it should be worth. Not 2 billion.
I didn't quite get the part where your avatars will not be able to interact if you're connected to different servers. Makes me wonder: Is each piece of land unique between different servers? If so, does that mean that an avatar will feel lonely on the same piece of land where perhaps other avatars exist but are connected to different servers? aka feeling lonely even though there are others on the same piece of land you don't know of ?
The parcels will be the same on all the servers because the property is actually on blockchain and the servers use this data to populate the world. It would be better for the ecosystem if there were more people on the same servers. Imagine clubhouse rooms in decentraland. -Kris
Price prediction for 2022???
Either over 10$ or back to cents. Metaverse Tokens are so unpredictable
It is Very very strong project and verified project ❤️
Bought some when it was less than $1.
Apart from BTC, ETH, DOGE, ADA and BTT, i believe MANA will hit big in next 2-3 years!
So what do we use? i would love to this wit my boys. .
Will users eventually be able to see other users that are on different servers? Is that the eventual goal? That sounds absolutely awesome to me. I’m not much of a game player but I would have so much fun meeting random people from all over the world while freely roaming within a digital decentralized realm.
Possible because of blockchain ecosystem
This reminds me of a game I played back in the 90’s - The Realm. We had avatars and bought weapons and things. Interacted with new people and made social groups. Same thing .. but this is higher tech now
Although may have to be limited to a total number in one realm to prevent having 500 people in one 10 foot art gallery
Can you make money in decentraland?
Yes
Did you not listen to the whole video?
Don’t be a dick dude
Superb. Mavrody rolls in grave out of envy.
How do you buy land in decentraland?
TVK is hasn't been discovered yet even though it is on binance. Clearly going to break into the top 100 during this NFT craze.
Everything a central city needs to build a post-national backbone: energy, materials, equipment, etc., can be rented or purchased in cash, or secured with mortgages. Began to talk about building, farms, factories, buildings, gas, circuit pipelines, railways, highways, Bridges, airports, shopping malls, meetings, and so on, the worker's labor remuneration, working time setting, farm grows earnings, the algorithm of the materials needed to build, the whole city consumption calculation, etc., countries, states, county boundaries
this is a great start, but I feel like it has so much more potential
This comment aged as nicely as the wine you could afford if you invested when you left this comment!
@@nickr365 no to be honest I still don't fully believe in the project. The devs are great and they've been making great moves and partnerships, but the fundamentals of what the game is built on isn't good. Sure the price went 8x, but for how long? An NFT boom isn't going to keep something that isn't great up forever.
If something like the METAverse does well, there's not really a point to something like Decentraland. Furthermore, Ubisoft has started to touch NFT item trading. At this point I feel its only a matter of time before the project fades into obscurity.
Can graphics be upgraded?

Where is decentraland hosted on? Is it on some center silo?
Great question Serene, Decentraland is as its name implies: Decentralized. What enables this type of diasporic hosting is the Ethereum blockchain, which is not centrally hosted. Instead, Ethereum is run on a network of computers that is spread around the globe, much like many other cryptocurrency blockchains like Bitcoin. Decentraland is built on the Ethereum blockchain, and so it inherits Ethereum's lack of centralization. Let me know if you have more questions, I'm here for you! -SL

Its Amazing and truly groundbreaking. Developers should call it “second world” or .... wait a minute !!!
Something like this will be a huge part of our future, i'm sure.
I'm looking forward to what this can become but also very afraid of what people will do with this whole new world, this new currency and information...
yes, in the present and future, all the smart people laugh at all the criminal scum and fraid that is going on in decentraland.
Holding MANA, really believe much more in the decentralised concept of the environment, and the art direction more in tune with the interactive real time “sims” concept for the world, then the minecraft pixelated art style rip of, on which they built thesandbox, Decentraland will have a much higher userbase as a meta world

Should make sure you have motion blur turned off and that you have high fps, It can help tremendously
If they can cross connect all servers, multi realm convergence if you will, then that will be a game changer. As it stands, with such a low pop per day it makes it hard to see relevances on one server, while not seeing it in another. Much like other rpg “games”, that have multiple servers that end up merging due to low attendance rates.
Do you mean like a multiverse of MANA :) -Kris
@@exodus yeah, but as ONE omniverse of servers rather than separate miniverses. Right now, interaction cant reach more than a certain pop. Its like a bunch of little terrariums.

Hey Demian 👋 Decentraland is a Roblox-esque metaverse. However, MANA is the fungible ERC-20 token that fuels the Decentraland economy. Hope this helps! I'm here if you have questions. -GR
@@exodus Ok thank you .So my question should of been is Decentraland the same or different to Roblox . I am not sure I am understanding, thank you for your patience .
Ah yes, I totally hear you. Decentraland differs from Roblox in that it takes it to another level. You're physically exploring the metaverse and also makes use of the blockchain as a way to manage ownership of land, avatars, assets, etc. 🚀 -GR
@@exodus Thank you and that makes more sense. I appreciate your patience and knowledge.
I rather have a half acre in Stormwind. I would pay real money for that. I would open up a virtual Pizza Hut that takes orders and routes them to the nearest real Pizza Hut for delivery. I get a cut for the sale. That is what Blizzard should do. Make Blizcoin.
