Riot specifically said that he wasn’t an elemental dragon like an Ixtali or like Shyvana. He’s a dragon from Camavor. So I don’t think that’ll ever happen. Maybe with an ultimate or legendary skin

After 6 min in the game... WTF?! Veigar's stacking has only one weakness, passive play make stacks slowly, this champ can stack harder than anybody, and his kit scales with stacks!
The only big thing about his stacks is the execute, the rest is actually underwhelming, especially the E,

Are you crazy? It's literally the same as Veigar, you're only limited by ability haste for your q cooldown. Where tf did you get the idea he stacks harder than Veigar? At 30 minute game he had 300 stacks, veigar would have at least as much too.

I think he doesn't need to build much damage items. He has a %maxHP true dmg on Q and flat damage scaling on all abilities. Maybe essence reaver as core item and some bruiser itens later?

Ok, let's see this closely.
(there's a tl;dr at the bottom if you don't want to read too much)
Crit items have the advantage of scaling up your Q and E damage through the crit chance stat, both its physical and magic portion. That damage scales up well through all Q evolutions and allows you to delete squishies by default - if tanks are a problem, you can build LDR without stacking up Q to its final "true damage" form, because you deal mostly physical damage anyway. And of course we have Essence Reaver and Quickblades, which both go really well with this drake: Sheen procs, solving mana problems, amping ability damage, tons of benefits.
Bruiser items should work with abilities well - think about building Cleaver and Shojin for Haste and ability damage, that should do decent. The problems are mana management (Essence Reaver is somewhat still needed, otherwise you might need a Manamune if you want a different Sheen item) and lack of crit, which will cut down Q and E damage to, let's say, 70% of what you get from full crit build, making it less effective against squishies. The advantage is that after fully evolving Q you become a strong duelist (think of Fiora and Camille, true damage plus bonus Health equals winning all duels), and possibly you can make up in damage department by stacking really far. Also, building some HP makes you somewhat safer from being engaged on, because Smolder is otherwise made out of paper.
So I'd say that crit is much more consistent, while going bruiser items means you aim more towards lategame and 1v1s. It's probably up to one's preference. I'd love to see a well crafted build which mixes both; Smolder would love items with both crit and HP, if there were any.

The Smolder gives me older champ vibes(like old tristana with her E debuff), which I really love! Cant for all the wanky builds will come up with it, and as much people hate him for one reason or another I think Riot did great job with Smolder, really loving how he looks so far!
The Q being treated "like an auto" I think was maybe letting you lifesteal off of all of it- the AOE and the mini explosions behind. Your Q was healing you a TON. The tooltip also says specifically that you can only get one stack per champion hit, which suggests that champions can GET hit more than once by a single Q. I'm curious about botrk on him. Essence reaver was good but manamune might also work if his Q spams hits. The E might also spam hits for on-hit.
AP ratios look WAY too weak to be playable to me? Despite being an ADC, his Q is so central and spammable that it seems like he's meant to be played as an AD mage.

Yeah I'd agree. His Q seems overtuned (maybe just the passive and how it relates to it), his E is pretty much just mobility, W and Ult seem fine.

Smolder looks like an amazing adc, i do wanna not really Main him but make him one of my Top adc's however i do think his Execute is way too strong, and the scaling should get cut in half. But they should Double the damage of his E or make the flight longer duration. TLDR, nerf Q execute and buff E
Top adc? As in playing him toplane? I suggest banning riven, jax, darius, garen, yorick, trundle, Tryndamere, ect... nvm don't take him toplane 😂 there are to many champions there that will obliterate him early game, can zone you off the wave and well... bully you out of lane😂
Mid or bot are viable, I suggest mid to benefit from the new void shrubs for stacking.
As a toplaner, I would love to see him top and just all in him every time he walks into lane😂

His E actually does a lot of damage if you can land all the hits. You should have done about half of a champs health or quarter alone. The problem is he can be stunned, knocked, displaced, dislodged, hummerdingered, schwacked, feared, incarcerated and even sneezed out of his E which makes the barrage stop.

Yea that execute is definelty getting nerfed, maybe even removed which i would approve. To be fair its kinda difficult to judge based on zwags videos because lets be real zwag is a beast at the game and definetly doesnt resemble most of the players but it still looked very broken

i dont agree with the e being useless zwag, if you look closely at 30:20 you only hit 3 of the total 9 on caitlyn because you used your e too early when she wasnt in range yet and then it ended because of the duration of e. If you take the dmg you did to her and do it x3 then you actuallly would have done 50% of caits hp just like you wanted. I think thats pretty busted considering its not a primairly dmg ability but more a utility ability. it gives you 100% movement speed so you can dodge a lot of skillshots and it also gives you a kayne e for a short while, considering that you get those things AND get to do 50% of a caits hp (without even aiming as it litteraly autolocks) i think its pretty busted.
I want to see you do Karthus with the new ultimate ability cooldown reducing items and spam your ult with the burn damage to harass the enemy team
I did some item observation and research and I found one of the most high scaling healing effects on jihn.

That scales with Ad on its healing and crit in the first hit oer champ soo..... You know jihn gets more ad up to 1k+ o late game right....... So pretty much if he 1 shot per new champ target he can actually heal to full hp......😅😅😅

Well idk. He can work with a lot of enchanters or cc supports. Sure his range isn't great, but he has huge scaling kinda like a vayne.
But I agree he should be better mid though. Again, just like vayne is often more successful in toplane. Too many rough matchups botlane.

His execute dmg is spelled wrong. It is actually 2,5% instead of 0,025% (someone probably wrote it wrongly because 2,5% = 0,025). In 29:18 with 300 stacks you had 9% health execute, but if it was actually 0,025% you would have 1,25 + 0,025% of 300 = 1,25 + 0,075 = 1,325 so basicly stacks wouldn't do anything..
I'd say he's pretty weak. Definitely gonna get buffed. He takes to long to scale. I mean, you had 16 kills and can barely kill Catelin. If she played better she could have easely out range you. Compare Smolder to Samira, with 16 kills she presses 3 buttons and an auto to be shure and kills any adc, when having a great early/middla/late game. His E deals no damege, prevents you from using abbilyties and has too short durationg and high couldown. Comparing to Kayn E, he can travel way to longer, healin and low cd. Even red Kayn has lower cd. Yes, he is a mele, but he has a way out with his R and passive vamp, when Smolder doesnt. E needs to last longer or deal more damage. W needs to deal more damage or travel faster and apply more slow. Q needs to have slightly more range. Passive burn on E and a execute needs a nerf. Sry for weak english

Hopefully when he comes out I can try building him a bit like GP, he's definitely gonna function like any normal ADC, but he doesn't do much early- might like to play him mid or top like a psycho and just hyper focus on stacks like nasus then go ham mid to late
ah yes exactly what the game needed, another infinitely stacking, mobility mage/adc hybrid, with point and click high damage Q, a rumble ult on steroids, cc ability and can build whatever they want! great job riot you've outdun urself again! but don't worry he has mana issues early;) which makes him balanced! but dont worry yet again riot cuz u have runes that counteract mana problems so yet again another broken 13 years champ that allows og champs to not keep up with him whatsoever... cant wait to see him perma banned every game!
I really fucking hate the visuals and cannot, no matter how good the gameplay is, get myself to even only feed indifferent about him. Riot ruined dragons for me thematically and that is something I never thought possible. Then again this isnt a dragon, but some weird Yuumi-Zoe-Scalie-Skinwalker. Absolutely disgusting
Tank splitpusher. Essence reaver+ Cdr boots to farm waves and nearby jg with Q. Add hullbreaker to win 1v1. Add tank and beef as needed. For Giga brain play, tank + movespeed to run away while your q burns them down, since they can't burst your tanky ass.
riot: fights are too short and too bursty, we need to buff everyone's survivability so the game requires more skill
also riot: Let's give every new champ infinite scaling, huge aoe damage, no cooldowns, and basically a button you can hit that kills everyone on the map and instantly wins the game. Edit: oh and it can fly through/over/around/teleport so walls aren't an issue
The big reason people were upset by Smolders design is because Riot gave a "Disney" face to the character when they have already depicted what dragons look like in their universe. It's like they took a genuinely cool concept, and then just downgraded it to a low budget Chinese knock off of their in universe Dragon concepts.
I was wondering why do You have so much views after 8h (200k is a loooooot for a LOL RUclipsr) and I looked at thoumbnails from 4 years, it's all time the same, I quess You have some rizz so just game replay is enough

im not really sure if Smolder is "broken" per se, from seeying that game, i think you had like 150 more minionkills than the number 2 on the field, on top of that you also had 25 kills, on average compared to their team you had about 3 fully built items.. ofcourse it will look broken at that point :P
FUN FACT about the new items Annie is to op with one of the items effects.
That is they burn while getting damage by an ult and you now have multiple burn effects ap items which it's even more op pair with the true damage one😅
And add slow to the R and you have one of the most irritating ultimates in the game to tanks and non range champions 😂😂😂
Note: this item combination also works on teemo a bit to well that his an nightmare to soft adc which his always been that nightmare at full item but now it multiples by x3 😅
As an emerald adc main he looks like a ton of fun and super high damage but will probs get nerfed. Infinite scaling is hard to balance. Also his e just seems kinda useless unless u get slowed. Everything else pulls u out and the move speed he needs should be higher for an actual escape. I’d be in favor of it being like kaisa e with him not doing any damage solely for the better utility.

Riot is going to nerf him to the ground, his Q is almost all his playstyle, E does nothing and W is... fine, I think they should move the execute to the E and keep te burn on the Q, makes you actually wanna use the E, or... I don't know, make the E reset after kill sounds a little bit busted

Dude you have 25 kills, over 300 cs, you were giga-fed... though I agree that the execute should be nerfed, it not removed, this wasn't really indicative of a normal game

Not sure, but i think this guy is supposed to be built on-hit (assuming his e doesnt get reduced like urgot). Not only does his q apply on-hit to everything it hits (even from explotions), also his e would be applying on hit on every one of his dast autos
His kit is really cool and all but I'm not a fan of the inconsistency between the champion's design and it's capabilities. Like you can have really menacing looking champs that do nothing in game and then have cutesy champs that hit like a truck

Smolder seems incredibly cool, but I think a scaling execute on a regular ability as easy to land as his Q is not okay. If it has to have the execute at all, I think raise the stack thresholds on his Q, and/or remove the scaling aspect of the execute
Imo hes really really weak you went 25 kills but still nowhere near hypercarrying a game what kind of a "scaling" is that? He scaled whole game but still not a hypercarry as he should be.
