Bringing back memories Lamont as a Nurse working at the Prison (Greensville) at the time as he awaited execution I was assigned to work a shift in the death house with him the day before the execution, he required 24 hr observation, it was believed he really wasn’t paralyzed but feigned it believing it would spare him from the electric chair (he was allegedly beaten by other inmates in a prison fight) as we know it didn’t stop the execution, may the victims Rest In Peace.
@@sativarosegold3604 I agree with you, malingering is an issue but so are legitimate complaints, to play it safe all should be taken seriously, unfortunately they’re not, Stamper could walk with crutches, he did everything for himself, all we needed to do was administer meds @ensure he didn’t attempt suicide; however many paraplegics are independent depending on the severity of their injury.
@@sativarosegold3604 What about the lack of humanity they showed their victims? They're just misunderstood, had a hard life, or some other excuse, right? You probably have a family member in the joint. Maybe you'd think differently if you or someone you loved were the victim(s). You've detached yourself from reality.
He couldn't take his paralysis! Was he smarter than the medical professionals who examined him?
I had a classmate who had a spinal cord injury from a boating accident in her early teens. She could walk with crutches and a brace on one leg. All paraplegics aren't wheelchair bound; it can be a low-level injury to the spine or not completely severed. However, it's often easier to use a wheelchair. Nobody wants to walk over an entire store or college campus on crutches.
@@hairyape3935: I assume you meant he couldn't fake his paralysis. Of course you can't fake something like that. How stupid of anyone who would think that. I studied to be a nurse and took care of disabled people and also processed medical bills. A spinal injury can be plainly seen on X-rays and you can see atrophy of the legs, how much depending on how much function there is left. It sounds like his injury was low on his spine or the cord was incompletely severed.
Your a really good story teller, stay safe!!
Thank you
@@LamontAtLarge I'm surprised Virginia had 911 Emergency Service in 1978 that was ahead of us in the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania.
We still had to dial on rotary telephones the number of police, fire and ambulance services as even pulse rotary phone lines were not yet upgraded to touch tone lines in all communities.
We had Shoney's Restaurants in Pennsylvania until the "Big Boy" chain bought them out which was also bought out themselves by Carl's Junior and turned into Hardie's.
@@LamontAtLarge your an amazing story teller totally bc when I subscribed your platform was under 100k and that doesn't seem that long ago which says alot. Your Rock KUDOS!!
Wow such a petty situation. He killed those people for nothing. If you’re not happy with a job, then leave. He wasted his life and caused grief for so many people.
America should have government guaranteed jobs program. So we can uplift the working conditions for all workers and make it less likely for corporations to exploit workers.
@Opal Allen *Looking how many supporters of BLM* get get away with their crimes, I am not of the impression America is treating its criminal population terribly bad.
@@WithoutRemorse12 nope as bad as corporations are you do not want the government to be in control they will do an infinitely worse job. Just look at the DMV.
@@ifyourmarriedyourasimpanda7440 This about uplifting conditions for Labor. So corporations have to compete for access to the best workers. Instead of treating everyone as disposable.
@Opal Allen Except when you piece it together, there is almost 100% Certainty that he did the crime. There is that margin of error because DNA Couldn't be collected and Cameras were not as common back then; but there is a very high probability he did the crime.
I love the way you tell the stories. You totally hold my interest.
I made $3.25 an hour in 1987 which was minimum wage. I was thrilled when I got a 10 cent raise. My heart goes out to those who died trying to make it too.
I remember working for 1.25 an hour in 72 can u believe that shit!
I remember making 2.35 an hour wow back then I thought I was RICH.Funny makes laugh 😂😂😂
No sympathy for murderers regardless they sit in a wheel chair, glad to hear he wasexecuted many more murderers need to be as well rather then getting life in prison..
😢exactly my dad was murdered, niece , 2 cousins I have no petty for demons 😢😭
I don't care if they sit on a fence. If you kill and it's not self defense, you should be punished. You're so right!!!
It's worse when the killer is never caught. I remember hearing the killer in the colonial parkway murders in Virginia was never caught. The killer who killed the Mayor of Norfolk, VA in the 60s was also never caught.
One of my uncles back in Virginia knew this man and told us about this case years ago. Very sad case. I hate hearing about people being killed at their jobs. Rest in peace to the victims. And yes Shoney's has better food than Denny's.
“Has?” Are there any Shoney’s still open???
@@mj6962 Yes. Here in the Richmond area.
We have one left in Indiana
@@a.g9539 Oh where at in Indiana?? I remember when I lived in Atlanta they used to have a late night breakfast buffet on weekend nights.
@@mj6962 it's in a little county north of Indianapolis it's owner has owned it for close to 40 years I was surprised when my cousin went to visit a friend and stopped in to eat
I *live* for that intro! "What is UP, RUclips? Lamont at Large!" We love and support you!!!
I love your longer videos!! Safe travels. We love you!
"Get into your wheelchair so you can go to your new chair which will soon be your old chair." Lamont......🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I actually like the longer videos thrown in every once in awhile.
I worked in a minimum security prison for a few years
We had one guy who was in a wheelchair. They even had to have another inmate push him around everywhere
Then one day he got mad at somebody, so hr jumped up out of the chair and got into a fight. Turns out he didn’t need the chair after all.
I love how you tell the stories. It sounds like we were there at the scene of the crimes. Thank you❤️
I no right ..he has a gift at this
Hey dude your special enjoy listeningl to your stories, your hilarious hahaha take care
Every dog gets his day, RIP to the victims.
Damn right I have no remorse for troubled ass souls rest in peace to those 3 people 🙏🙏
I have to admit Lamont, this title drew me in!This is a new one for me. Lol. Have a great 👍weekend 😀!
I'm sorry but tha title has me..😆
Lamont you cover what needs to be covered for each story and you tell the stories well. Trust me, you've got it just right. I know from reading the comments I'm not the only one who thinks so.
He didn’t waste any time spending that blood money. So sad for the victims and their families. They were at work trying to earn an honest living.
Excuse my French damn right he deserved it lost soul killing people that are trying to make a living 😭🙏
What a piece of garbage... Everyone in this world just trying to make it to their next payday and he gets upset for being turned down for a raise...If I've learned one thing in life it's that some people have no morals and couldn't care less if the person next to them lives or dies... Good stuff as usual Lamont!!!!
My working career spanned 41 years and I never in my life ever asked for a raise, I let my job performance do the talking.
It's called no conscience
So true,
@@iveyivey1298 You also worked in a different era. Some companies especially now, take advantage of you and give you a quarter raise. Especially after 2007 great recession. And Amazon's influence on how they treat workers, while making the owner the richest person on earth.
I don't condone the killings but my goodness if their nightly takings were so high, surely they could have given him an increase in his salary? He had every right to expect a decent salary.
From the wheelchair♿ to the electric chair ⚡..lolol
Damn, Lamont. This is one of your best efforts!
'Get in your wheelchaor so we can wheel you to your new chair.' Great video!
My grandmother and grandfather are buried in Richmond Virginia. Prayers to you all .
Lamont, we appreciate your storytelling and your research. The more info the better. You are fair and entertaining.
Another good story very well told. Love these big, sprawling cemeteries in the US.
Thank you from England.
Your straight forward and self effacing nature comes through naturally through your commentary. You're openly willing to let others know how you live, and you're not ashamed or afraid to admit quickly when you know you DON'T know something on a subject or matter. Character=Top Shelf.
Very well said. Lamont is a good person who is very down to Earth 🌎
@@carolcoughlin3096 I don’t necessarily think he’s a good person based reading from a RUclips come on now we know better than that … I once saw a RUclips page where Lamont would do lives and something’s he said were VERY questionable but do I love his other pages yes I do he tells true stories that I may never have found and for that I am grateful but no not necessarily a good person
I love hearing the stories.
Well at least he didn't have to walk to the electric chair
He just slowly rolled along
Prisons have cemeteries where inmates who die, with no place to go, are buried. This could be the case here.
You can't go around killing innocent people & expect to get away with it. Wasn't worth it in the end! Thank you, for telling the story, Lamont.
💁🏻♀️ I just hope Percy didn’t wet the sponge. ⚡️⚡️ 🪑 ⚡️⚡️ 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼
Hell, Europeans killed a whole nation of native indigenous people,so stop the nonsense.

Lamont you are really kicking it up a few notches! Keep it up brother. Great stuff!
That's a great story and you told it so well! Thanks Lamont, good job!
That’s Horrible!
That was a very comical narration Lamont! Lol :)
AND GO HE DID!!! Keep up the great work Lamont. 👍🏿
Thank you Lamont at large for the video thanks keep safe Lamont god bless you god keep you safe always
"Get in your wheelchair, so we can get you to your new chair, which will soon be your old chair." I literally lol'd at Lamont 🤣
Very good story - you do a lot of research and make it very interesting. RIP to the victims. FYI also - Demaryius Thomas died - just 33 years old. And Mike Nesmith too

Great piece Lamont 👏 👌 👍 thanks again 👍
Lamont 4 President!
Who cares of him being in a wheelchair he deserves what he got
I hate to hear stories where people go to work to provide for their families and don't return home😢
“All these bleeding heart weirdos” 😂 love it!
I'd just discovered Lamont's videos, and they're quality.
He thought that wheelchair was going to save him,but love the idea of the electric wheelchair lol
Another brilliant video Lamont at large much love to you my friend ❤
Wow your right I was 16 back in 82 and I worked for Mc Ds as my first job I was making 3.25 an hour and if his wife worked making three they would be considered well off . Food was cheap and so was the electric bills and had no kids he could afford to wine and dine his wife once or twice a month.
Heyheyhey Lamont!!! Sad story!!!
Happy Friday Lamont & Crew!!
Loved the pic of the Sparks coming out the building when talking about removing his braces
You are very good. I listened to the end. This guy was cruel, wicked and heartless. He was fully compensated. The seed you sow that's what you reap.
Lamont your the best bro.
Whatever you do Lamont is great.
20 minute video is more then good for someone like this thanks Lamont
@19:36-19:41 once after Lamont was indicating the burial site of the man, the sound of a passing train in the background gave it a bit of chills to it.
Very interesting story good job. I wish my rent was $100 a month
I pay $525 a month for a studio apartment everything included in Raleigh NC.I wish I paid $100.
Thank you Lamont, you’re a very good story teller. Stay safe.
Ngl they way you put these vids together so immaculate
Another interesting story. Thanks Lamont, keep them coming.
I would like to know what happens to the spouses of the killers who are left behind in these horrible crimes.
I heard of one who went on welfare. She was a mother so she was eligible for it. She attended the trial and fainted when she heard the evidence that her husband actually did the horrible thing he was accused of, which was murder and rape a pregnant woman.
Electric wheelchair ♿ 🤣🤣🤣
No, no it's wheelchair to the electric chair .... old sparky doesn't have wheels, as far as I know 😉, Smh.
Great job. Even though the story is awful, you shared it brilliantly. Thank you 😊
Great job Lamont. You're the best.
I liked this longer video. I listen with the phone in my pocket while at work.
"You gotta go and go he did!" Yes indeed Sir. Keep up the excellent work and innovative stories bro!
May the victims rest in peace.
Awesome work showing us all your videos with so many history sometimes dark and horrible cases and crimes which unfortunately victims never expected to die of. Thanks for your excellent and professional way of speech. Good luck on all your journey throughout USA and its past unknown cases that have been forgotten. You have talked about cases that never been talked about only when the tragic events happened. Great work Lamont. Would you ever think about doing videos is school shooting victims? I have never heard any blogger talk about this delicate incidents despite having had been so many death by school shooters. Would like to know more of those poor victims because media only talks about the killer and not the victims in deep. Continue with your awesome work as I continue viewing your videos 24/7
I love your long videos Lamont! I play them while I’m eating and playing my games!
eating what?
Funny, I do the same shit! Im a veteran and nothing bothers me, seen it all, alot of crazy shit goes on in the world, I don't play games though, if its not real I want nothing to do with it!
Least he paid his rent...lol
Yes back then the pay was no joke.. Trust me as a teenager in the 80's I made 3.50 an hour at mcdonald's..and thought I was a baller in Detroit lol
I was 16 back in 1987 making $7.70 at KFC. Those we’re the good old days. Time files enjoy life everyone.
Couldn't agree with you more about these reprobates to society, great channel Lamont 👍, love your show
I love your storytelling you leave no room for questions. Explain so clearly.
Lamont, we don't mind long videos they're all very entertaining and you do your homework on all of them, excellent work, excellent videos, and excellent narrating, thank you.
Thank you for the video Lamont
Lamont you tell great stories so interesting and exciting when you said. Change your chair for your other chair i was no. Good your great love you Mr Lamont. From phillie
Thank you Lamont love from the UK X
One of the best stories I've heard from you Lamont!! Stay safe out there,, from UK 🇬🇧....... .
Hey Lamont you made it to my hometown, yayyyyyyy. I never heard of either of these men you mentioned. I wasn't born until 1991 in Henrico County. Very interesting but sad and messed up case for sure. I'm glad justice was served at the end. I've heard about this story just recently actually and they just recently closed that Shoney's and others as well. I had been to that Shoney's shortly before they closed it. I hadn't heard of this triple murder at that time so now every time I pass by it I think about those poor workers who were murdered in cold blood. I hope they are R.I.P. and I am so so sorry for their families losses. I'm looking forward to them tearing that Shoney's down eventually because I don't think anyone else is going to buy that building as its been vacant for quite some time now.
Hello.I lived in Richmond from 1985-1991.I believe this Shoney's was on Staples Mill Road.
Hi thank you for sharing no worries you doing just great.
I am 62 disabled but I always watch your videos.
God bless
You are so sharp at what you do Lamont, stay safe brother
Stay safe out there, and rock on, Lamont! 💜✌
Love your attitude. Agree with you.
What a grim fate. You're confined to a wheel chair, and then you get a change of chairs, to the electric chair!
He got what he deserved. Nobody has the right to kill over not getting a raise! Lamont I love all your stories especially the longer ones with more details. You do your homework on these Graves and the people in them. And yes, payable on death is a good saying for this jerk.

Lamont, I like the way sometimes you do short videos and sometimes you do some longer ones. I think it’s appropriate and works out really well because it really does depend on the story. You are an excellent story teller. So I don’t think you should change anything about what you do. Just keep on keeping on!
Bravo Lamont! Another good vlog! Thanks for all you do!
