The orcas are so smart that they obviously knew that the humans helped them. I like to think that they remember it and tell it to their friends and that's why it's rare for orcas to attack humans because they know we're friendly. 😊
@@genesisdeguzman9074 Never say never. Orcas used to never attack human boats. Never. Yet all of a sudden they have become very aggressive. To the point that if you didn't escape your boat was sinking. They have never done this, yet here we are. There's no reason to believe they eventually won't. I love whales and the complexity of the dolphin family in particular. Incredible creatures, but we can't possibly say with any reasonable certainty they will never attack humans in the wild. In fact if anything the more intelligence makes the entire situation more chaotic in a natural sense. You don't know what they're thinking anymore then what they know we are thinking. We have ways of life an Orca couldn't comprehend just as much as Orcas have ways of life we cannot comprehend. Also another thing to remember is there has been no official recorded record of an attack, doesn't mean one never happened. In fact it's likely that an Orca attack in the wild would be fatal and against an individual who's alone, so unless their body washes up on shore we would never know, and Orcas drag their prey down deep and drown them. You would never been seen again.

One of the reasons why Orcas are peaceful towards humans, they are very smart, they communicate and surprisingly they learn from experiences and pass the knowkedge down to later generations
iv seen a pack of 75 Orca's hunt and kill a Beautiful young Blue Wale , it took three hours of about 75 Orca's to kill this Beautiful young whale , it fort back as long as it could 3 hours , Karma has it ways
Stuff like this restores my faith in humanity. The way all those people ran to help the orcas that got stranded on a beach in Argentina was particularly touching.

Yeah that actually made me upset. I realize they’re vicious predators and all, but that squeak sounded so sad and scared. Maybe it’s just my human nature putting more emotions into things, but I was very glad the Russians were able to rescue the poor whale.
I know! It definitely pulls out your heartstrings. So happy that they were rescued. The story where seven of them were stranded, the way he ended it, sounded like he was gonna say six DIDN'T make it! So, when he followed it up that only one died, I was relieved but sad they couldn't get that last one. All the rescuers did an amazing job. 👍👏💕

I am from Argentina, that rescue in this video was typically ours, lots of people, very passionate, not organized. Then you see the Danish example, only a few people there, they thought about it and came up with a simple and effective plan. No drama, great results. Good example of how countries are ruled, with passion or with intellect. The results, both for saving orcas or running a country, speak for themselves.

They should leave alone humans csn not help but mess with shit they have no part in the orca messed up and should be left to die or save itself it would be nature and many would benifit from the corpse

yes they are the top Predators of the sea... but they are also kind and gentle.... i was surfing off San Onofre in California and i met a pod... i was not scared but i felt a understanding, one of the big females brought me a stingray, she was sharing her food with me it was one of the best moments of my life...... we Hunt them kill them and put them in tanks but yet they still are gentle and kind

In June of 2018 I think, I was on San Juan Island at the Lime Kiln Lighthouse site. It was a day for the Orca Dorks as they are known. A lot of people that had a benefit auction and day of song and music devoted to these beautiful creatures. We had a native playing his drum and the J pod showed up to entertain us. They breached and danced and flapped their fins. Basically joining in the song and dance. I stood on a rocky cliff about 10 feet from the water and big Mike did a swim by. That orca is at least 30 feet long and his fin stood at about six feet, (at least it looked like it.) He was so close! They stayed quite a while. Than a thunder and lighting storm broke out across the bay over the Olympic rain forest and the sky turned luminescent. Big Mike rounded up his pod and started south. As the pod swan away in twos and threes following him, a rainbow crossed the bay over them. The only thing missing that day was a skittle shitting unicorn. I will always remember this.

Orcas are the most beautiful creature on earth as well as elephants and lions tigers - all big cats , dogs there are so many but orcas and dolphins are my absolute fave ! They are so darn cute so intelligent and just beautiful

I love elephants because of their sense of family and loyalty and now that I have seen Orcas they also have a sense family and loyalty. Orcas are now my second favorite.

It's interesting because Orcas don't attack humans in the wild. It's good to see that they sometimes find that we want to help them as well. Some Orcas know that some humans are their friends. 🙂

Orcas live just as long as we do so every orca eventually has an interaction with a human. They can also communicate with each other. They know we are their friends.

Humans are also rather poor food for sea animals as we have very little meat and big hard bones and our flesh is also rather unappetizing for sea animals - there is hardly any cases where sea animal ate human flesh - sharks rarely but sometimes would end up attacking people by mistake and spit out as soon as they had the taste the ugly primate flesh.
It is no surprise that these wonderful creatures do know the people/places that are trying to help them or are safe. So many want to point out the attacks or negatives that have been recent but it is no secret that where these have taken place is where these animals have been facing trauma and or exploitation. They like humans remember things that hurt us or our families as well as those that care for us. The whales here could feel the genuine love and concern. Thank you to all those that shown compassion to these orcas and any wildlife. Those cries for help made me cry.
My favorite sea animal, they are such amazingly beautiful and smart creatures. But really this gave me hope for humanity. It’s wonderful to know that there’s good people in this world ❤.
They must have difficulty breathing because of their weight. And laying on those rocks must be painful. They need to put teams in place specifically for these situations. Such beautiful magnificent orcas, I hate to see them stranded like this. Glad that most of them were saved. Poor orca calf crying , it's so upsetting, they must be saved, they deserve to be saved.

I cried. The orca's are not for our fun. They are Animals. Release all of them NOW. My English is not really good. But i hope everyone understands what i am writing. They are wondefull animals with a family. If you keep a orca against his own will, you should be a SHAME of yourself!!! Remember: if you are buying a ticket for a zoo or aquapark to see them do shows, you are not any better. MUCH MUCH Respect for all the people in the world who are taking good care of this Animal. I can imagine that this might be a reason that there are not any recorded cases of orcas attacking humans. It could be that they tell the stories of their rescue to their pod and appreciate the help from us two-legged over generations.
They are smart enough to understand that a lot of humans are not powerful enough to pose a threat, as well as that we are not their prey. People underestimate their intellect and empathy

They, however, have an entire part of brain that no other species have (well, they/we do but it is very small in comparison), that is strongly correlated with empathy according to brain studies. Take from that what you will, but I don't think it is far fetched to assume that orcas' empathy and possibly some other related traits are something we can't really even comprehend.
@@Slawyes, I agree! Tbh, when I first saw orcas, I already understood there is something different. I made a contact with their matriarch, she was absolutely massive. She was accompanied by, what I assumed, were her grandchildren or maybe even great grandchildren. She was about 90 years old. I swear, her eyes were more intelligent than any dog, cat or horse I ever saw. I love swimming for several different reasons, but I definitely did not expect loving it even more after that encounter. This orca was definitely a size of a boat, I felt tiny compared to her. I watched them hunt a shark. Terrific strategy, clean prey. After that she moved the group, swimming in the front, and I noticed a big male near her. Considering how close they were, I assume it was probably her partner, they can stay together even after age doesn't allow them to breed after all. Sons usually leave the group, but maybe it can be her kid as well. I completely believe in what you say based on my experience. Orcas are... Something else entirely. At least for me they are

The orcas are so smart that they obviously knew that the humans helped them. I like to think that they remember it and tell it to their friends and that's why it's rare for orcas to attack humans because they know we're friendly. 😊

To the point that if you didn't escape your boat was sinking. They have never done this, yet here we are. There's no reason to believe they eventually won't. I love whales and the complexity of the dolphin family in particular. Incredible creatures, but we can't possibly say with any reasonable certainty they will never attack humans in the wild. In fact if anything the more intelligence makes the entire situation more chaotic in a natural sense. You don't know what they're thinking anymore then what they know we are thinking. We have ways of life an Orca couldn't comprehend just as much as Orcas have ways of life we cannot comprehend. Also another thing to remember is there has been no official recorded record of an attack, doesn't mean one never happened. In fact it's likely that an Orca attack in the wild would be fatal and against an individual who's alone, so unless their body washes up on shore we would never know, and Orcas drag their prey down deep and drown them. You would never been seen again.

iv seen a pack of 75 Orca's hunt and kill a Beautiful young Blue Wale , it took three hours of about 75 Orca's to kill this Beautiful young whale , it fort back as long as it could 3 hours , Karma has it ways

Yeah that actually made me upset. I realize they’re vicious predators and all, but that squeak sounded so sad and scared. Maybe it’s just my human nature putting more emotions into things, but I was very glad the Russians were able to rescue the poor whale.
I didn't even know they could vocalize or make that kind of noise when above the waterline until now. Definitely glad they got out alright
I know! It definitely pulls out your heartstrings. So happy that they were rescued. The story where seven of them were stranded, the way he ended it, sounded like he was gonna say six DIDN'T make it! So, when he followed it up that only one died, I was relieved but sad they couldn't get that last one. All the rescuers did an amazing job. 👍👏💕

I am from Argentina, that rescue in this video was typically ours, lots of people, very passionate, not organized.
Then you see the Danish example, only a few people there, they thought about it and came up with a simple and effective plan. No drama, great results.
Good example of how countries are ruled, with passion or with intellect.

yes they are the top Predators of the sea... but they are also kind and gentle.... i was surfing off San Onofre in California and i met a pod... i was not scared but i felt a understanding, one of the big females brought me a stingray, she was sharing her food with me it was one of the best moments of my life...... we Hunt them kill them and put them in tanks but yet they still are gentle and kind

Wonderful work saving God's beautiful creation.
In June of 2018 I think, I was on San Juan Island at the Lime Kiln Lighthouse site. It was a day for the Orca Dorks as they are known. A lot of people that had a benefit auction and day of song and music devoted to these beautiful creatures. We had a native playing his drum and the J pod showed up to entertain us. They breached and danced and flapped their fins. Basically joining in the song and dance. I stood on a rocky cliff about 10 feet from the water and big Mike did a swim by. That orca is at least 30 feet long and his fin stood at about six feet, (at least it looked like it.) He was so close! They stayed quite a while. Than a thunder and lighting storm broke out across the bay over the Olympic rain forest and the sky turned luminescent. Big Mike rounded up his pod and started south. As the pod swan away in twos and threes following him, a rainbow crossed the bay over them. The only thing missing that day was a skittle shitting unicorn. I will always remember this.

It's interesting because Orcas don't attack humans in the wild. It's good to see that they sometimes find that we want to help them as well. Some Orcas know that some humans are their friends. 🙂

Orcas live just as long as we do so every orca eventually has an interaction with a human. They can also communicate with each other. They know we are their friends.

@@kyleknapp1985 orcas are rather picky eaters. They only eat what they bean taught to eat by parents. Humans are also rather poor food for sea animals as we have very little meat and big hard bones and our flesh is also rather unappetizing for sea animals - there is hardly any cases where sea animal ate human flesh - sharks rarely but sometimes would end up attacking people by mistake and spit out as soon as they had the taste the ugly primate flesh.
It is no surprise that these wonderful creatures do know the people/places that are trying to help them or are safe. So many want to point out the attacks or negatives that have been recent but it is no secret that where these have taken place is where these animals have been facing trauma and or exploitation. They like humans remember things that hurt us or our families as well as those that care for us. The whales here could feel the genuine love and concern. Thank you to all those that shown compassion to these orcas and any wildlife. Those cries for help made me cry.

They must have difficulty breathing because of their weight. And laying on those rocks must be painful. They need to put teams in place specifically for these situations. Such beautiful magnificent orcas, I hate to see them stranded like this. Glad that most of them were saved. Poor orca calf crying , it's so upsetting, they must be saved, they deserve to be saved.

They are wondefull animals with a family. If you keep a orca against his own will, you should be a SHAME of yourself!!! Remember: if you are buying a ticket for a zoo or aquapark to see them do shows, you are not any better. MUCH MUCH Respect for all the people in the world who are taking good care of this Animal. I can imagine that this might be a reason that there are not any recorded cases of orcas attacking humans. It could be that they tell the stories of their rescue to their pod and appreciate the help from us two-legged over generations.
They are smart enough to understand that a lot of humans are not powerful enough to pose a threat, as well as that we are not their prey.
People underestimate their intellect and empathy
@@rosamunddrag8971 Their intellect when it comes to sheer mental power is less than humans and a bit less than dolphins according to the assumption that brain size and the surface area (folding) related to body size strongly correlates with intelligence. They, however, have an entire part of brain that no other species have (well, they/we do but it is very small in comparison), that is strongly correlated with empathy according to brain studies. Take from that what you will, but I don't think it is far fetched to assume that orcas' empathy and possibly some other related traits are something we can't really even comprehend.

Tbh, when I first saw orcas, I already understood there is something different.
I made a contact with their matriarch, she was absolutely massive. She was accompanied by, what I assumed, were her grandchildren or maybe even great grandchildren. She was about 90 years old. I swear, her eyes were more intelligent than any dog, cat or horse I ever saw.
I love swimming for several different reasons, but I definitely did not expect loving it even more after that encounter.
This orca was definitely a size of a boat, I felt tiny compared to her. I watched them hunt a shark. Terrific strategy, clean prey.
After that she moved the group, swimming in the front, and I noticed a big male near her. Considering how close they were, I assume it was probably her partner, they can stay together even after age doesn't allow them to breed after all. Sons usually leave the group, but maybe it can be her kid as well.
I completely believe in what you say based on my experience. Orcas are... Something else entirely. At least for me they are
