Though I don’t not a have plow or a F350, I truly like to keep learning and enjoy your in depth videos. Full of details and information. Always learning something keeps the mind young and seems to find a way of helping someone else out, rather to reference a video to someone or help them out with an issue. 👍🏻

I just finished installing a new Western Prodigy on my 2019 F350 dually. What a pain in the @§§. There isn't room for anything in these newer trucks. I like neat and orderly wiring, but that isn't possible in my truck. And you'd think that Western could simplify their wiring system, but no we just have to have 17 miles of wiring. I've never sworn so much in my life.

I just ordered a '24 F 250, and it will be built next month. I also have snow plows, and will be installing one of my Boss V's on it when it gets here. I just wish you were a Boss guy too, so that I could have known exactly what I was in store for!
I checked your channel, and I don't see one, so I'm guessing you haven't done a video on the truck itself? I'd be curious to see a review video of your truck, because some Ford super duty chat groups have got me very worried about my new truck. I'm reading horror stories about the CP4 fuel pumps and the air conditioning issues, amongst many other issues that people are having with these '23's and '24's. Have you had any issues? What model is that you have? I ordered a Lariat Ultimate with about every option they offered with the exception of the H.O. engine, because I needed to get a truck with no greater than a 10K GVWR due to the trailer that I pull, and getting the H.O. gives you a minimum of a 10,600lb GVWR, and some even higher than that. Anyway, I'd like to know more about your truck, and if you're pleased with it, and if you've had any issues. Good video!

Hi Jeff - Thanks for the view and comments. Unfortunately, I'm not a Boss guy - ha. Although it seems like everybody here in North Central Wisconsin is.
Honestly, I love the truck. I had a bit of buyers remorse when I traded in my 22 for the 24 last December, but after towing with it (We have a 37' 5th wheel) to Florida and back, I wouldn't go back to the 22. It is pretty much exactly what you ordered. F-350, Lariat Ultimate loaded with most options (Not pro power), Crew Cab Long Box, Antimatter Blue with the 6.7.
Compare to the 22: Way, way better towing technology compared the offerings in the Lariat Ultimate 2022. I also like the dash upgrades, the seats are better, and the 10 speed shifts way better in my 24 vs my 2022. The 2024 does drink more DEF compared to the 2022.
I did not like the chrome rims that came on the 24. I swapped them for a set of king ranch rims from a 2022 - which required changing the TPMS Sensors in the new to me rims as well.
I currently have 18,000 miles on the 2024. It has had a couple driveline issues - The rear end had to be completely rebuilt at 8 or 9000 miles after our Florida trip as all of the bearings were shot in the rear end. I also had a seal in the transfer case output shaft that was leaking and replaced. Other than that, no issues. Just driving it, putting fuel additive every tank and stopping at popular fuel stations. I also only use for the most part truck stop DEF.

New trucks are too comfy to be a plow truck. lol. I run antique stuff.

That's something I considered when I bought the plow back in 2012. Get a new plow and put it on the daily driver or buy an older truck with a straight blade. I'll be honest, I'm really happy I bought the plow. There's something about being in a nice truck when it's blowing cold outside. I honestly didn't anticipate the new new trucks, but now that we pull a 5th wheel across the country once a year, we figured the upgrade was worth it.
