The trauma's of his past could probably damaged his whole personality which results that his personality shattered in many pieces.
While one part acts honorble in the name of the companions, another bloodlust psychopath part of him takes assassin missions and one part just want to make other people feel miserable which would be his mafia part which acts as thief guild boss.
And the magic academy director just want a pieceful life and a healthy relationship.
And the normal part?
Feels just tired and exhausted because he was forced to kill his buddy Paarthunax, nearly executed by imperials, and had to do so many things to save the world which drained all his energy.
All these conflicts, fights and horrible experiences turnt him crazy.
And so, he has to control hisself to not go on a rampage.
The fact that there are no brothels made it not easier.

It's easily my favourite VR experience. You need 2 or 3 basic VR mods to get it to this level of interactivity but its easy and very worth it!
