I’m from Sacramento and I think the A’s will stay in Sacramento. Vegas doesn’t want them. I’m not an A’s fan. I’m a Yankees fan so excited to see my team come to my town.
The Coliseum is a nasty stadium. It's a shame the A's or Raiders never renovated it. It will be interesting to see what happens with it in the future, but the stadium is no longer viable
@@86byrdman Stop. Fenway Park was built during revolutionary war. James Cameron built Titanic when he made Titanic. That movie sucked by the way. Forrest Gump too.
@@86byrdman The two major issues I see with Coliseum are the effects of climate change and also VERY bad plumbing. And these are significant. As I have said before I see a renovated Oakland Coliseum one day being regarded as another Fenway or Wrigley-type time machine deal. Think 2050ish.
@@86byrdman With the Raiders playing at Coliseum- and paying for all the maintenance- I think Fischer was able to avoid putting a ton of money into team, especially as he was receiving millions in small market assistance from MLB. It was just about to get a lot less profitable for deadbeat John Fischer at Coliseum and he is just done with that whole situation.
@@86byrdman It was a non-starter for both MLB and NFL, renovating it that is and baseball does not even like the Coli location for building a new stadium. The big problem with it is it's not a football stadium or baseball stadium. It's the last of that old 60's 70's era multi-use with the last one before it destroyed in 2000 in Pitt.
Very good report but you need to stop referring to what Vital Vegas says. No credibility. He hates all sports in Vegas. Admits he knows nothing about sports. If he had his choice every sports team in Vegas would leave. If a building doesn't have a video poker machine he wants it torn down.
@@RickeyBlog Reason behind it is I have been interested in this whole A's relocation saga and I work 12 to 14 hour days in a factory with a headset listening about the A's as a go to. I also listen to Sully at Lock on A's/MLB and the information put out is just fantastic and informative from the sport business side of it. You, Brodie, Casey, and Front Office Sports are my go to. Since everyone is moving on from the A's after September it's worth listening to whats next for Oakland. The Oakland 68s is a start and I think you are reliable with your information and you source it well with lots of references. You should be proud on what you do, hence why I made the suggestion. Great talk about the last game situation with Mt. Davis, i did comment on that as well. Best of Luck after the A's leave, I'm sure bigger and better things will come to Oakland and the coliseum site I hope becomes a new downtown Oakland. I'm sure it will be.
I think everyone should listen to what the mayor of Las Vegas said "Oakland should make their beautiful waterfront ballpark a reality". We all want the deal in Vegas to fall apart so they can come HOME to Oakland 💯💚⚾🏟️🥁🐘
10000% once next mlb season happens, MLB will have alot of questions. And more media! Hyped for Sac Town!

Fisher admitted he is equally excited to watch three Yankees play in sac
So is John Fisher! Can’t wait to see Aaron Judge hit tanks off his pitchers 😂
Losing the Coliseum would be a disaster

At least the West Sac mayor is excited about the A’s lol
The A's would be a financial boom for Sac. In Vegas, the A's wouldn't make sense there
We’ll see how it all plays out!
It's a done deal!!! The A's are moving to Vegas!!! John Fisher, get lost in the desert!!!
Renovated Coliseum >> Chavez Ravine
Personally, I'm done with baseball. Just like football. No regrets at all. I have a lot more free time now.

I wish you would be a podcast on Amazon Music.
I can try to add the podcast there but these Rickey reports are pretty visual so better for YT but thanks! I’ll try to do that
