The MBDTF one was the censored version. The og cover art is himself as a demon king type thing having sex with an angel type white woman. Obviously, labels didn’t want this in walmart

I remember working at target and putting out new music on tuesday, and I saw the Wolfgang Amadeus phoenix album.
Never heard of Phoenix before then but the cover art was so catchy I bought it and ended up loving the album.

The Donda cover could've used a little more darkness and maybe a couple of dragons. I feel like the cover was too vibrant and bright that's honestly what strayed me away from listening to it.

She said she wasn’t interested in knowing who owned the company when she signed the contract and got a minimum 40k advance from dr. Luke from an insta story she posted. That money is a loan she has to pay back plus interest before she gets a dime from the record. As Rx songs also handles her distribution for her they will continue to always get a percentage of every stream this album ever gets unless she buys the rights to it back and rereleases it. Dr. Luke’s infamous allegation of sexual assault were made back in 2015 by Kesha and with Ethel’s recent tweets to Kesha acting supportive she knew exactly who she was then and is now trying to proactively skirt backlash for her connection to her abuser or is actively rubbing it in her face. Either way Ethel Cain lost all my respect as an artist and person. But i won’t judge anyone who vibes with the music, Ptolemea is a quite cool track.
