  • There was a clever reference to a previous book in the series. When the gang discovered the Room of Requirement, Ron asked if it could become a bathroom if the user really needed it. This was actually a subtle nod to the novel "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire"!
In the book, Professor Dumbledore described the Room of Requirement for the first time, although he didn't specify its name. He mentioned taking a wrong turn while looking for a lavatory and finding himself in one he didn't know existed. He was unable to find it again later, making him wonder if the room only appeared when the person entering it had an exceptionally full bladder.
So, what other clever references have you spotted in the Harry Potter movies that connect to the books? Let us know in the comments!
