Question, is this $175 per yard including the edging, pulling weeds and installation?
Hi, we didn’t pull any weeds. It included the mulch and install, but since it was the first time we had worked at this house, we edged the beds as a free extra to try and leave a lasting impression and get more work in the future.

Do you vary your prices depending on the cost of the mulch? I have some mulch I put in that costs me $35 and just recently another that is $100 per yard. I have always charged by the hour so this is an interesting concept about charging by yard installed.
Yes. If it cost more, price goes up. If it is easy access price goes down. If it’s hard access with steps or lots of plants on the way or far from the mulch pile price goes up. You need to take all this into play when quoting.
@@AaronBLandscaping I will have to think on this for my next installation. We are finishing off an acreage today , they didn't ask for a quote and we have the use of their skid steer for anything further away from the mulch that was delivered yesterday. Only 12 yards.
