    Ingredients:
    1 cup moong daal (split yellow gram)
    2 Tbs Dry Fenugreek leaves (Methi)
    2 green chili, chopped (optional)
    Salt to taste
    1 tsp red chili powder
    1 tsp turmeric powder
    1 tsp garlic chopped
    Bhagaar
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    4 button chilies
    1 tsp garlic chopped
    Instructions:
    Rinse the moong daal under cold water and drain.
    Add in a pot.
    Add 2 cups of water
    Add salt to taste, all powdered spices mentioned in the ingredient list, and green chilies.
    Add dry fenugreek leaves.
    cook for 10-15 mins. heat and simmer until the daal is cooked and tender.
    prepare bhagaar:
    hot oil/ghee
    add garlic chopped with cumin and button chilies once splitter pour the bhagaar into moon dal methi.
    Serve hot with rice or roti for a wholesome meal!
