Myles is just as I described. His NFL experience is going to be a whole lot different, and he is going to have to learn the game. he not kicking butt to start on NFL OTs. So that's what I meant by that. So, what are you talking about a terrible take? Set yourself straight.

  • @jesusoftheapes
    @jesusoftheapes Год назад

Not the guy I was expecting but Myles Murphy slipped for real and it makes 0 sense to me but this proves the importance of working out at the combine. Had Myles worked out I believe he is still looked at as a top 15 player in this class but he did not play their games and it cost him a higher spot in the order. He did good though landing on a hot young roster . He will be great where he landed. I liked Lucas Van Ness about as much so I am with you and do not hate this pick .
The entire trade with the Jets was not being held up about anything to do with Aaron Rodgers . The two teams were fighting over Lucas Van Ness. The Jets drafted a Packers favorite at 15 so it looks like the two teams had eyes on the same players here. I think what we found out tonight is the entire trade hold up had nothing to do with Rodgers at all . They were trying to decide which one got this Edge guy. I love the pick but wish it was Murphy. I'll take it though. Van Ness puts in the work and we are looking at a scary player for this team.
Do not sweat it man . i will eat this bet because i wish I was not write about it either really. . So if you want . Let's call this bet a draw and settle things next draft when we argue about something so much better to cover than Aaron Rodgers ! I love your show my online friend and am just happy we could clear the air before the draft. Next year let's to competing mocks or something and do a player to player competition or something nuts . I know it could be a fun way to settle pre draft grudges and silly commentary and move forward as united Packers fans. We all just want to win in the end anyways. But i also know I have to work on my delivery when I write in these chats online. At least so I do not seem like such a jerk yelling at you from the cheap seats. If we do a open beer betting competition put some suds in the game or hell any legal buzz worthy item if you want to be less boring than beer. I will try my best not to be so obtuse when i counter your video points moving forward . I appreciate your coverage last night and look forward to the rest of the draft. GO PACKERS!

    REPOST
We can't take a slot receiver at 13 with so many holes on the roster. Look for Gutey to trade back. Lukas Van Ness + an extra 2nd round pick this year is waaaay more impactful than JSN. We are in the WINNING business. Getting beat up in the trenches every year in the playoffs because we prioritize finesse players is not wise.
Power running quarterbacks with elite speed are changing the landscape of the NFL If you want to win, you have to get QB's on the ground and your defense off of the field. Taking JSN at 13 is a doomsday scenario for me because he's not appreciably better than Addison, Flowers, and a few others that are available later in the draft. Here are some of my best mocks with accepted trade offers generated by the system:
23 - Lukas Van Ness (EDGE)
    x - Bryan Bresee (DT)
    x - Dalton Kincaid (TE)
    x - Zack Kuntz (TE)
    x - Sam Laporta (TE)
    x - Jonathan Mingo (WR)
    POST RD1
Draft to beat the Eagles. They are the gold standard on how to build a dominant team. The NFC championship will go through them. Grab both Washington and Mayer if possible and then load up on O&D-linemen. Don't prioritize RAS necessarily, just draft big heavy guys that can't be moved off of either side of the line of scrimmage. Then fill in our defensive specialist positions (DB & LB). I'd be okay if we draft only 1 WR in this draft. I do want 3 tight ends though.

I think Lukas Van Ness has tremendous upside.. What I cannot comprehend is why the Packers neglect to get their quarterbacks immediate help?
I understand we have Watson, Doubs, Toure, Cotton, and Metlon
BUT we are currently a Watson injury away from playing practice squad guys....
I fully understand we will address this in the 2-3 rounds, but why can't we for once go out and get those JJetas type guys that are available early? JSN/Zay Flowers could have had tremendous upside with the packers and we stilllllll go defense first every year.

We could’ve went edge in the second at 45th ... WR would’ve solidified that WR group and Njigba was the perfect slot candidate . Luke van ness is a bullrusher ... yes his ceiling is high because he can learn like Gary ... by why do we keep drafting developmental players instead of drafting ready to go players ... Jesus Christ this organization sucks . Gute needs to be fired dude . Packers need a slot WR and Jaxon was sitting their just waiting dude ... I would’ve even been happy with a TE ... Luke is not a top 15 pick

What a terrible pick, good player, sure... but we have almost zero talent and depth at receiver and tight end, fire Gute, get him out
Edit: Even better!!! This guy NEVER STARTED A GAME at Iowa!!!!! We took a one dimensional player in the first round... I can't believe how stupid the Packers continue to be

You don't take depth players in the first round, and you don't risk a first on a TE. There's plenty of time to fill those spots out day 2. We'll be fine.

The Packer's GM loves giving the fans the middle finger every year in the 1st round. They literally never draft the guy that the fans want or makes too much sense. They love to reach on potential upside players whoare kinda under the radar. I kinda get it, but for crypes sake! Just give us a pick we lose our heads over just once!!!
