I been thinking about getting a Klr, just seems like the bike that would be most fun for me, being able to do both paved and dirt roads perhaps some trails, perhaps not the best as a road bike for the road or a dirt bike for the dirt, being able to do a little of both at the end of the day, i think would put a smile on my face.
Can a person wear a V-Strom out? haha...seen some serious high mileage ones, the short suspension on them I could cope with, otherwise I'd probably have kept mine longer
Spoiler alert, after selling more parts since this video, it got under 3k, will have final price on completed build video soon...(I have a load of parts sitting for install in the next few days) Even the end cost(which is figured already) you couldn't really buy a stock gen 3 unless someone was selling a cheap one.
I love my 2023 Gen 3 KLR 650 Adventure. Really fun bike. Trailering it down to TN from OH to do some rides in the Smoky mountains tomorrow.

They are just ok bikes, they will within reason do what one asks.
Looking forward to it.
Cant wait to see the build
Liked and subscribed; I agree with Your ideas, will follow. Always liked the KLR platform. Need to wear out the V Strom then possibly.
