One of the few places in Belgium where you can get lost...It's a weird - densely forested - boggy, fog-fueled micro climate over there...hauntingly beautiful !
Beautiful video Jon. I live on the Belgian coast and its just flat and urbanised everywhere. The High Fens is the one place in my tiny country when I truly feel nature all around me. Its an absolutely gorgeous and unique place.
Love this part of my country! Thanks for the vidéo...
Wonderful video. Absolutely love the photos of the stream under the trees where you captured the movement of the water..Regarding the rookie mistake with the wellies. At least you didn't do what i did once when i got caught up taking pictures of waves at the beach, didn't look where i was going slipped on a rock and ended up completely submerged in water apart from the arm holding my camera above water. Thanks for the videos Jon it's great to watch them when the rain is beating on the window (does that a lot here in Wales)
Beautiful videos and stills! ,Thank you for the insights on what you were trying to achieve. I appreciate your hard work! Great post!!!!
i really want to live there
Thanks you very much for nice video and inspiration. Don't worry about waterfall photos. Despite your main subject, it's not the best. Others photos are better as waterfall IMHO.
hi, I'm from Colombia and I really enjoy watching your videos ... I love the way you freeze a moment in a photo. If someday you visit Colombia, please go to "caño cristal" is an amazing place full of colors. We call it, the river of seven colors.
Thanks for watching and your comment Viviana!
Hola. Un cariñoso saludo a Colombia, "tierra querida", desde Bélgica. Ven a descubrir nuestro lindo país. Tiene aproximadamente el mismo tamaño que el Norte de Santader pero es riquísimo y creo que te encantará.
nice video Jon. I've enjoyed watching it. For me it is a familiar place. If you would choose to go there again and you're looking for some tips where to go next time, feel free to contact me.
Thanks Mark, for sure I'll be returning in January and hoping for some snow!
Was just wondering when next video was coming out! Talk about timing :D
Hi Fredrik - yep, this one is a long one though! You'll need some staying power to get to the end. 3 locations in 1!
I made it through alive! Your videos make me more interested in landscape photography. I'm new to photography and at the moment only taking shots on birds. Hope to see some more bird videos :D
Hey Jon, how do you do the map tracing and sign graphic in your videos?
I think I used a free map software to draw on. Then I used a plug in effect in my edit software for the sign graphics.
