The Intel(R) 400 series SATA AHCI refers to the specific version of the SATA AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) driver provided by Intel for their 400 series chipset. The standard SATA AHCI, on the other hand, refers to the generic AHCI driver included with the operating system. The main difference is that the Intel-specific driver may offer additional features or optimizations specifically tailored for Intel hardware, while the standard driver provides basic functionality.

The reason is because of the Nvidia Drivers. Nvidia released an update on the GT 730 (there maybe others too, but idk) that messed it up, causing bsod. Solution is to uninstall the newest version of the driver and get the old one from before the error was happening. Hope this helps lol
@@laciherself ya my gpu is gt710 and and bsod happening after that
uninstalled the gpu driver and its 2days since bsod not happening

may i know whats teh difference between the intel(r) 400 series SATA AHCI and the standard SATA AHCI ?
The Intel(R) 400 series SATA AHCI refers to the specific version of the SATA AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) driver provided by Intel for their 400 series chipset. The standard SATA AHCI, on the other hand, refers to the generic AHCI driver included with the operating system. The main difference is that the Intel-specific driver may offer additional features or optimizations specifically tailored for Intel hardware, while the standard driver provides basic functionality.

I installed COD Warzone and a day later I get this bluescreen all the time, could that be the cause or is it a coincidence?
My mainboard and cpu are only a year old but my graphics card is like 7 years old (GTX 770) if that matters
Edit: also got the latest nvidia drivers the same day, looking at other comments it looks like that might be the cause?
I also started getting this error a few hours after i updated my nvidia drivers
I also have a GTX 770. Going back to the previous version of the driver seems to have stopped the crashes.

So the SSD HDD driver thing is crap, windows uses the Vista drivers and doesn't find any updated drivers, the drive manufacturers have any new firmwares, crytaldiskinfo says all drives are healthy.. it's annoying to have a general error that has so many causes
