Do these pandas in Taipei zoo have "natural looking" habitats, or do they just exist in this concrete pseudo playground? :(
They do have a naturalistic outdoor habitat in Taipei Zoo. However, whenever the temperature exceeds 26°C, they must be kept indoors.
It's good to see Wall Street Journal be interested in showing adorable Yuan Zai. Unfortunately, Yuan Zai and her parents are clicker abused and mistreated at Taipei Zoo everyday. I hope Wall Street Journal didn't have to pay the manager to take this video.

Varasalvi2 The purpose is to stop Taipei Zoo using clickers and target bar against giant pandas and other animals. They have stopped clicker abuse at Live show hour last 2 shows, but I still saw the team using it from the crowd the rest of the day last time Yuan Zai was in exhibition.

Journalists, please don't pay and ask the Taipei Zoo panda team's manager to show you how she and her team clicker torture and manipulate these poor giant pandas as that only makes the giant pandas suffer even more clicker attacks and mistreatment from the demonstration and the manager is making money by clicker torturing Yuan Zai. That is animal cruelty unacceptable.
