Honestly, this is what every holowear should be like. Seems odd they're so expensive, especially the ones with zero effects.
What’s even odder is introducing those Holowear tickets only to not add older Holowear, leaving these tickets to be building up uselessly.
Absolutely, the prices of the skins are prohibitively expensive, this should be the norm for skins rarer than green quality.
Imagine a Gengar one jump scaring people that get KO'd...

Its called the TPCi effect. Timi gets a small percentage amount, so yes, they do have to make pricing pretty steep in order to comply with TPCi price demands and at the same time for Timi to get a proper revenue amount.

I’ve always looked at the prize machine in this way: it’s like a coupon with the free throws and then you can push it over with money if you really want it. I just hope that this isn’t like a limited number of boxes and you can actually just be unlucky enough to NOT get it at all (even with gems). I really want the skin. I’ll be grinding this event so hard.

I dont mind the changes but I do mind the 40% battle pass price increase and the massive nerf to the gems membership
HOK basic regular skins have animation change (moves only) higher tier have different things like recalls and cooler ult and moves animation.
Sinnce this is the first orange tier I can expect even better orange tier soon !

Its cringe how this is what Purple skins should of have in the first place. Sfx effects and recall. And they miss an opportunity once again by giving this Orange skin tiers the Shiny Variations of the pokemon but meh
I wonder if they'll use this to introduce some stuff like form changes, Megas, etc, for already existing Pokémon. Like zard full on gets it's mega model while it's in the air uniting.

Tbh they can sell those skins for 100$ if they want. The worst thing is that its only some cloths. They probobly cant change the pokemon model, and that's why imo there will be behind other MOBAs. Just compare it to legendary skins in LoL, that change everything. Back in days I bought Aether Wing Kayle because how awsome it looks. New model, new animations, new effects, new voice. That was skin worth my money.
Unfortunately, I’m not a fan of Sylveon but it is a cool holowear. I wish they would come out with top tier, purple or this new orange, holowear more often.
So what this new holowear tier achieves is basically what the other Tencent MOBAS offer already for 10$-15$. I hope they change the pricing for the other skin tiers cause alot of these really don’t make sense to me when you compare it to its competitors… 😅

I personally think that the orange tier skins will cost about 60-70 bucks if you plan on getting it instantly and not participate in any Gacha

I’m more excited about the fact that in the chests you have a chance of unlocking captain style cinderace. I have the super suit style cinderace skin and have been waiting for captain style to come back

If a "Epic" Purple skin was $40+ I wager a day 1 "Legendary" Orange skin is going to be over $60+.

Honor of kings looks exactly like mobile legend UI wise
It looks really cool and my review will depend on the following
-is it like a loot box where the odds of getting it are low
-what else is in the treasure chests. If you can unlock purple holpwear permanently as well as orange tier then I'd be happy
- How high will the drop rate be of each
If it has a low drop rate and requires you to spend a ton of money to get then it will be the worst holowear release ever however if you can get it totally free and semi guaranteed then I'll be happy. Either way I'm confident that this new holowear release will push how pokemon unite monetizes itself
If i were to guess it would probably be 5%-10% if we are using an actual gacha system. I would if there going to be a pity system in it or not cuz if it has a pity system then there is a chance many people can get this holowere for free but if it doesn't have a pity system then i guess you have to be lucky 🫡.

7:50 if they wanted us too freak out over a cool skin Sylveon was not the best first choice, even with its recent buffs. Literally most others would have been better. Dragapult, Dragonite, Cinder, PIKA, Slowbro. Sylv may be some others fav, but as a lead in trying something new just isn’t the right Pokemon.
I'm gonna tell you right now that it was one of the best pokemon to choose. Not only are eeveelutions super popular, sylveon is also extremely liked in Japan. The ones you listed might look cooler and whatnot, but in general eeveelutions are the best shills out there.

I think showing more love to defenders and supporters should take priority to encourage more players to learn how to use them. Everyone want to play attackers. I'm tired of getting these 3 attackers, or 2 speedster teams with no way to stay alive. Starting with Slowbro would've been a fair starting point.

/attackers but honestly even defenders are over chosen and op currently. I typically end up in games with 2-3 defenders not sure what elo you fight at but im around 1500 masters rn. If anyone id say a supporter should have been highlighted like Elde or Bliss.

See unite never was about the skins it litterly states that in the game comics it's cosmetic only a 3d hologram so status effects bring added would totally throw what they been doing with that system out the window then it would be if you got this skin your better than the person with this skin wich I think is dumb yes it's like that in some games but unite has keep this simple yet fun a great co op with the pokemon franchise and new comers like me to thies style of games. Really the only reason I bought some gems are for the pokemon I really play plus I was playing for a while and wanted to give a bit to help the game that's why I bought gems not cause of stat changes I was free to play all the way up yo my first purchase I maxed my held items I use, I get charaters with coins, and for skins it's if I get one cool if not no big deal cause theirs no difference between visuals that's it wich I like that's why at the high point of me playing I finally bought some gems for skins wich I don't even use gems much or at all like I got the skin put it on my pokemon and 9/10 that's their skin till unite 2 on the new switch. But ya this new system at least gives is a chance of free skins back I rember getting Tallon flame from the draw system the others to and we got to do stuff like this for new pokemon ho oh was the latest example and that was fine so just as long as the rates arnt like 0.00000001% then it should be fine plus you get the tickets as well so either way you can get it or just wait till it goes into the shop or a special event shop simple.

Really dislike the skin stylistically. I dont want this game to look like HoK in that ornate Chinese game aesthetic. Skins should just be relatively simple goofy clothes, this Sylveon is visual clutter and messes with intuitive game literacy about the strength and effects of moves.
I don't spend money on the game so I dont care how the skin comes into the game, but as a player I still have to look at other people's skins, so boo.
