- When rulers and generals of the great and mighty Roman empire started caring about their corrupt power and money more than the state itself - it collapsed. So why would Russia not follow that example in the future? The similarities between the two are obvious. Henry Keen will answer that question.

Oh yes, Henry Keen = we like Ukrainians & their unbreakeable will to be a free democratic society & not enslaved to a Russian criminal terror regime ‼
We like you too US TV English, thank you for your information. ❤
Very nice to see you back. You have been missed!
Excellent presentation Henry! Україна Переможе - Ukraine will win!
Thanks Henry 👍
Very good comparison, Henry. Rom fell, and fell hard through Dekadenz and Arroganz. That is Russia in a Nutshell.
Russia is not facing the same thing that the Roman Empire was facing - its territory is not being invaded from all sides. Change cannot be expected to come from below, it must be done from above, the tsar must fall.
The question presumes that russia is a monolith. It is not. The war is expanding the cracks in the ethno-religious divisions within russia. The dwellers in the swamp of moscow might not care about the life of those east of the urals. but the warmer people of the colder regions are more humane. they will one day walk away not only from this war, but from russia as a whole. leaving moscow alone, and unprotected from the consequences of its actions. Not only against ukraine, but its "own" people.
Of course it will, the russian empire also fell in 1917
Blinken playing Rockin in a dictatorship is being compared to Nero playing fiddle while Rome burns.
1. Russia is not *vastly* more populous, it is 144·10⁶ vs. 33·10⁶, which is ~4 to 1; on the other hand defenders always have an advantage of 3:1, and if we compensate for that we get 3 to 2; furthermore Ukraine has better weapons, better motivated defenders, and they get help from the West. If we compensate for Ukrainian better tactics, the Ukrainians have the upper hand, with a kill rate of 4 Russians per Ukrainian up to 10 Russians per Ukrainian.
2. Will Russia fall like the Roman Empire? No the Roman Empire fell slowly, it will fall like Soviet: fast and (pretty) unexpected.
Rusdia? You mean Cesspool i think.

Why go so far back in time? Spoiler alert: The collapse of Ruzzia will resemble the one of the Soviet Union. Same heads, therefore same ideas, therefore same actions, therefore same results.

"The Rise and Fall of Empires" - a very good book! What will be the next ones ? Russia, USA, EU, ...? 🤔
The comparison with the Roman Empire is nonsensical.
