Hi, Yes sure you can install 14900k but you must check temps. Sure this motherboard i think the best budget choice but if you buy z790 x versions or high-end z790 is more effective and lower temps for 14900k and 13900k processors
one more question , i am currently using z690 tuf + i5 13600k , i have updated bios ver to the latest . There is a problem that Cpu is locked at 3900mhz, how to fix it?
@@HuyNguyen-hf1ly What you mean locked? Did you checked other settings if they are enable? It depends sometimes if you don't enable a setting you can't use other settings. So check if CPU settings for OC are correct. Upload a pic to see the settings
@@HuyNguyen-hf1ly Try to set Intel settings not ASUS. Auto settings most of the times are ASUS. Use XMP II and not auto. Check "AI Overclock Tuner", Intel(R) Adaptive Boost Technology", "ASUS Multicore Enchancement" and "OC Tuner"
This was really helpful! thank you so much
Happy to help!

I have the i7 13700k what do u recommend me?
Hi! Try to do the same. Gigabyte release a new bios couple days ago with different gui. But optios are the same i think.
Hello, I have this same motherboard but with an i5 13600K, can I use option 2 and put a static vCore CPU of 1.165v and 1.180v ? Thanks.
Hi you can try this but if you see any stability problems try to test vcore wIth intel xmp to find stable setting and after do these settimgs on bios
@@pctechbuild40 You mean Intel XTU Optimizer, right?
@@Caobiita Yes for fast check. After that do stress test
