Seriously, after being 1hp for so long, after that last hit I thought he was gonna explode. But the relief of finally killing a dark souls/elden ring boss is unlike anything else. You just wanna go hug your family and go for a nice long walk
Hidetaka Miyazaki: the tree sentinel teaches players that they don’t have to fight everything they see, they should come back later when they’re leveled up *7 hours later* Atrioc: Sorry what did you say?
Hidetaka Miyazaki: If however players do want to beat the tree sentinel early, they can easily get a kill within 20 deaths by using everything at their disposal, especially well timed parries, utilising the katanas AMAZING early game combat art.... Atrioc: Light attack dodge roll say what?
I thought this was about Margit and was like yeah that's understandable I guess, but spending 7 hours grinding the tree sentinel instead of just getting your horse first really shows that sometimes frames really do win games.
You really have to give it to Atrioc on this one tbh. A lot of the early bosses in Elden Ring I feel like were perfectly described by Lobos. They are weird in a sense that some people could genuinely get lucky and be patient enough to beat them severely under leveled their first try or have to prepare and still die multiple times. They're almost deceivingly easy enough to make you want to fight them despite being able to run away from them. Even knowing that the Tree Sentinel first encounter is completely optional, I still chose to fight him. And instead of having the progression be the main reward, it was more just like a desire to fight a big enemy. Day 1 I did like 13 runs trying to figure out how to cheese him and it was so incredibly satisfying after fighting him for like 20 minutes straight in my last run. Atrioc has a different level of grustle, bc I fr just had to quit and relax for a bit before playing the game again after that. I can't imagine having such strong gaming will power to force yourself through 7 hours of suffering on stream. A different kind of beast. Especially with no spells and the katana, raw no rubber. I know Big A is gonna demolish the rest of this game.
A lot of it has to do with the stream. When I stream things even for a small 3-10 viewers I tend to put up with more and have more patience. It's a different feeling knowing that you're there to entertain and quitting a challenge in a game designed for challenge isn't entertaining
The fact that they tricked so many hardcore gamers into playing a souls game under the guise of it being "more approachable" makes me so happy, welcome to the shit show Big A.
@@changyang1498 i just beat the game. its easier if you actually go for a build for sure. Maybe im better now than when i played the other games, but this one feels like it has a lot more op stuff

Poor QuacK, I can’t believe the EVIL Big A would FORCE this poor editor to sit through 40 Hours of gameplay to edit into a 10 minute masterpiece for Btrioc’s own amusement
This is the first video of a soulsborne game i've ever seen that was actually entertaining to watch. The way this was edited together was incredible. The quick cuts between all the consecutive hits on the last attempt was particularly genius. I'd watch a whole series like this.
Death compilation was so sick. Don’t even like Elden Ring but every death swing felt like it was part of the song, Quack absolutely carries this channel. And the intense two minutes uncut of Big A finally getting it was amazing.
@@tmmnago2722 It's also a good lesson on whether it's actually a good idea to bang your head against a brick wall instead of just walking around it. Sure, the wall will eventually crumble, but you'll still have wasted hours of your life and walk away with a concussion. Big A's sheer determination (or stubbornness) is admirable, but it can also easily turn into a very dangerous flaw (ex : if gambling).
Bro if an editor can somehow make 7 hours of repetitive dying interesting then they're doing they're job right, but my man QuacK somehow made 7 hours of dying the greatest 10 minutes of my day.
I was literally cheering for you on that last one. You did so great! Especially your roll near the end under that attack and then you went in, that was a really cool moment.
Give your editor a raise right fucking now. Also, why isn't Atrioc plugging this on his socials? You're doing your part. He draws the eyes, you keep them entertained.
