I want to highlight 2 aspects.
There is a difference in legal copyright striking and moral copyright striking.
If you feel that the strikes are not justified on a moral level, that is your right to do so. But legally this is an option for a company to have a person not connected to their product.
I dont know if there is an agreement between Max and VM Legacy for the price money they won (qualifier and worlds finals stage), I do not have insights here, but I hope they can find a fair solution to support the young player Max!

Just a quick logic. If supercell doesn’t want an individual to interact with their product, they have the full right to ban him in game. But going to some other platform that isn’t even slightly related to their’s and starting to copyright strike until that individual gets banned from that platform, that too on a creative content, and further going onto other platforms to destroy him completely… Bruh you must be on high to even defend that action.
Not to mention they could easily talk with said creators and say he we longer want to work with you, you have a week to remove any supercell related content or we will copyright strike it. Deleting peoples lively hoods and whole accounts out of the blue is straight up insane

I please ask that no one harass Fluxxy, Itzu or any other player or content creator here. The problems I pointed out are Supercells doing, they are the ones who abused the copyright and they are the ones who gave Fluxxy the power to screw max over.
Eric is angry at the consequence of his actions. Trash talking the game in every single video/live that you do is gonna bring some karma your side. The karma came. And now he regrets.

I've said it to my clan mates and I'll say it here. Supercell hasnt been the same since the big th15 th16 dilema. I'm just so disappointed in how they've handled the game balance, the monetization, and their transparency with the community. After my 10 years of playing, it's truly turning into the end of an era

Eric wasnt talking about the legality of copyright strikes, he was talking about the morality of abusing them. Saying that its ok for them to abuse it so they dont have a toxic content creator affiliated with their game is a slippery slope to go down since they can start saying that all criticism of their game is toxic and copyright strike any video thats critical of their game

@priyanshubachhale5701 in case you didn’t know, Supercell is based in Finland. Finland does not have fair use laws. Eric was using assets from clash of clans(Supercell) in his videos. That gives Supercell the full legal right to copyright strike them

Did you even watch the whole video? Max was pretty clearly being a jerk and broke team policies and a lot of context was missing from Eric's video on that front.

Everyone knows Itzu is choosing his words very carefully, It's evident that Eric also was aware of the Supercell situation long before it became public knowledge. However, he only spoke out after he was removed from commentary and partnership. This indicates that many RUclipsrs are aware of the negative circumstances but fear speaking up. If they had addressed the issue earlier, it could have been crucial in saving many RUclips channels. For me, it shows they only care about the bag, not the community. Trust me if Eric was not removed from commentary in the first place this drama would never have surfaced because he would have never spoken out on Vm legacy situation or anything. This is my opinion correct me if i am wrong.

further more, Take CarbonFin’s recent video, for example. He seemed genuinely afraid to speak out but felt compelled to do so because of his friendship with Eric. It’s crazy that creators are put in such a position
Face it, Supercell are now employing every gacha tactic they can in clash. Multiple currencies, FOMO events, events that overlap other time limited parts of the game, introducing new items timed to coincide with other events so gems get used etc etc. Nothing wrong/illegal per se but be aware.

Nah the game is super easy to play even without fireballs and other epics. Like iTzu said if u have 2 equipment's for each hero that are ok then ur fine. Just have rage and gauntlet, invis and healer, eternal tome and healing tome, hog and haste. You don't need anything else so its not pay to win. Also with the meta being this easy u can triple with underleveled base equiptments like barb puppet

@@martz080for casuals yeah, pro scene is different, you need all those equipments max and on standby, pro’s practice multiple armies, some equipment work better on a base than others. The game has literally become all about money. All these monthly events with the pass, gold pass price increase, the ores. It’s all money only.
I’ve never understood how clash is pay win when the game never ends. Sure their micros can be in your face and frustrating, but theres no winning Clash of Clans. If you pay, you progress faster but you’re still a part of the endless grind to fully max, or end game. The last few updates have made it pretty easy to attack well and you can honestly farm a solid amount if gems. Pay to be creative, I will say makes no sense haha
I don't care about the company or the game , my main goal is to watch videos and enjoy the game, and our content creators should be free to criticize anything without the fair of being in danger, because if they are afraid to speak up, that's nothing but corruption and I don't think we should extend corruption, content creators are the main reason people play the game fock supercell

I’ve watched less than 5 minutes, I’m not understanding why you already don’t have an opinion on the overreach of copyright; which is the premise of Eric’s video.
He does, he said it's justified and a company should delete the channel of someone they don't like or as he said "don't want to be associated with".

Eric comments on copyright strikes seem valid but I don’t know the whole story. Doesn’t sound like a company should have the legal right to target people but I don’t understand the type of content he got copyright strikes for.
But Eric is just bringing this up as a side note, he doesn’t bring up the reason he was banned- harassing fluxxy. And also why you stand with Max who is the aggressor that trash talked about his team to a 17 year old kid for the whole season is pretty insane. Max was tearing his team apart and every single person and the team agreed that he needed to go for that reason. They approached supercell and got permission to remove him for the trouble he caused.

Don’t you think that if VM came out initially with a reasoning/justification for dropping max, that Eric and erikuh wouldn’t have been demoted or banned? The no reasoning and no discussion of payment for max is what sent people to an uproar. Maybe it should be a rule to give reasoning/payment details to a dropped player from now on (directly to the player and not necessarily public)

While VM should've given explanations you can't make them responsible for the actions of a third party. Eric went too far with his comments and actions so he was punished for it. Instead of cooling off and seeing things a bit more calmly he decided to double down and attack supercell directly.
He only hurt himself at the end.

The big thing I really care about is the copyright striking. Regardless of opinions between supercell and a creator. To go and strike someone unfairly (striking videos based on having clash content and not every other is clearly unfair and directed) to take down there entire channel that they built is a brutal showcase of copyright abuse. If they feel they need to ban or demote from the creator content program. They can. I may not agree with the reasons for each person. But that’s on them and their own program. I’m fine with them making a decision there. But they’ve completely targeted someone’s person discord groups and community to ban them completely and never have to answer for it

33:56 this is not true at all. Mask tried to get it for a long time but couldn't despite being a consistent streamer, one of the best esports players at the time, and streaming matches for esports. I used to mod for twitch channel. Priority was given to fluxxy as a person not esports player, for the tier 3 creator program. This was when Mask was playing with Bumm a few years ago in th14. If it has changed since this so be it, but that has not been the case in previous years.
Yes, Supercell does have the power to Copyright strike or censor anyone that they deem to be a threat to their company but there is a reason why Eric and a lot of other people disagree with Supercell' s actions in this situation.
It is like if someone posted an honest review of a product and gave a critical opinion on it (not to slander the product or the company itself, an honest opinion) and the company that owns the product just outright censors you just because they can. Thats obviously abuse of power and is against freedom of speech. Even though Supercell legally has the power to do so, the morally of it all is highly questionable and reeks of abuse and exploitation of the system. Supercell could have handled the situation better and not have jump to drastic actions immediately.
Also, released gameplay is within fair use. Someone could freely post themselves playing the game's public version. It is unfair to strike them just because of this.

playing COC since 2014 and now its high time to just say good bye to this app for this rude behaviour from the company . i used to watch stream of Time2clash , he is such a nice guy . i have seen him streaming like 3-4 hours just COC tournament wars . He gained nearly 20,000-30,000 subscribers by his hard work and supercell did this to him really broke my heart . i have been playing COC just because of all these content creators on youtube who hype COC and build interest of people into this game . When things like these happens , it really breaks the heart.

While its true the game before had p2w elements that would surface right after content updates, in the pro season it was easily handled with magic items that significantly lowered the actual price that it cost to get to the level pro players needed to be at for tournaments. With equipment however, the cost is so much more to get even the important pieces of equipment upgraded, it made it impossible for anyone but the absolute whales who throw hundreds of dollars at the game to keep up. Eric didn't say it introduced p2w to the game, it introduced a new element of p2w, one that has a much bigger pay wall.
Equipments for esports is not p2w, because you only use so few of the equipments. You get those ores easily saved up, which means with no upgrade time you dont have to spent any money.
But then you have a lot of hero equipments with each one being viable in certain strategies, so f2p players face a significant disadvantage @@itzueng-clashofclans

I talked about esports only. Based off what esports players told me, you can collect ores and when a good equipment gets released you max it without spending anything. Since most og the equipments are so situational, not every equipment needs to be bought for esports.
As I tried to highlight in the video, this is only for esports. For casual play or in general for players who just want to max out, it is ofc different as you said. But I have not talked about that. :)

My biggest thoughts for this and peoples responses are:
• I disagree with itzu take on copyright strikes - the premise he’s trying to use is correct but the application in this context, I do not agree.
• He is correct there’s always been a pay to win aspect early after any update and the equipments are no different just maybe slightly more effective
(Lets be clear though people who get paid, and paid well, to play this game will pay to stay consistent and competitive with each other, so to me it is a weird point)
• Max being kicked from VM is so convoluted it should be left alone at this point and let everyone go their ways.
My opinion: I do agree with Itzu on the specific issue of the Max ban. However that is no reason to go on to aggressively copy strike people. In any case I really dislike Supercell as a company due to their greed, not all game companies are like this! Evidence? They are doing two things more commonly than before which are trademarks of greed and disrespect to the players/game: 1.) They are pushing more for players to purchase Micro Txn items (e.g. the gold pass is the worst thing in the game imo). 2.) They are increasing "regular events", i.e. things which cause player to play regular to gain extra things. - Both these 2 things are extremely damaging to the game (the first as it damages peoples sense of accomplishment, the second as it pushes player to log in to play when otherwise they wouldn't want to and hence increases burnout/ dislike of the game). - Make no mistake supercell knows these things and is trying to squeeze the game as much as possible for short term profits and player activity, while damaging the long term health of the game. The reason is it gives greater short term revenue and more active players providing better stats for a pricing of the company. (Investors are going to see the figures/stats first, the details second.)
Adam actually predicted that there would be more equipments even stronger than the giant gauntlet and he was right as there are multiple leaks of 3 new equipments which are royal champion with an electric field like the elctro titan, the queen with clone equipment and warden with jump aura
