Hey Robert, today I have decided to add some comments to your videos. Great video, superb fish and fly to tie. Best thing in this video is one small detail I noticed, how you hold your rod and running line at the butt. It was a game changer for me when casting. It's all about dialing down the small details to be consistent each time. Tight lines !
It amazes me how many subtle shades of colour those fish have along their flanks when the light strikes them, tinges of golds and purples and blues all shimmering across their scales.
Thank you for posting this video, Robert, it gave me a chill to watch it. As I approach my 76th. year I regret that I have not spent more time chasing Atlantic Salmon, I will be fishing the Miramichi river in Canada in a few weeks and this set the mood perfectly. Terry

@@FlyFishingbyRobert kan tro det. Jag har själv varit med om när en lax på ca 5 kg nöp flugan typ 4-5 meter ifrån mig. Jag höll på att strippa in linan för att göra ett nytt kast. Det roliga va ju att jag fiskade havsöring med en klass 5 enhands 🤣 de va lite sport!

There are are ton of variables in that conclusion but it's important to belive in your fly so go for it with the fogtube:)
When you hooked up it was the one cast you made further out into the river to get a good a good drift.
