    three big moments which cost india most in this test :
    1.brainfade runout of jaishwal after 100 run partnership in first inning
    2. 2 easy drop catch by jaishwal
    3.pant's unnessary risky shot in 2nd inning when everything was under control for draw result

    • @lonewolfe2502
      @lonewolfe2502 20 дней назад +4

      What about incompetent Lowhit Sharma and Kohli who kept on playing irresponsible shots? What about Lowhit keeping Jaiswal on important fielding position even after he dropped 2 catches? Does he not know how pressure works? Ofcourse he was most likely to drop 3rd catch too after those previous two. How about Kohli not showing trust on Jaiswal during that run? When he takes such singles, he expect others to run without thinking twice and trust him blindly? But when other wants to show him the same trust in them, he couldn't do that. What about Rohit dropping himself instead Gill? What about Rohit replacing Bumrah as captain and then doing terrible captaincy? What about Rohit replacing In-form Rahul as opener? But still in your big 3 moments, you didn't criticize any of these two.

    Izzy, I love your podcast!! Congratulations to Pat Cummings team. I've been watching this series from US. Pat, what a leader.. led by example. He deserves all Kudos turning this test their way by not only removing both Rohit and Rahul but also scoring valuable runs on 4 th day! Again, India lost nerves in the last session and beat themselves! Rishab aggression at wrong time was what caused the downfall for Indian team.
    For me bright spots are: the way Bhumra bowled not this test but entire series is commendable and I believe he is a smart & genuine fast bowler for all surfaces!! I think India should build team with young talents like Jaiswal, Reddy, & Sundar. As for Rohit, Virat & Jadeja, they have accomplished lot for Indian cricket over the years and I think it is time for them to hang boots and make a move for younger talent!! That's my two cents!!😆😀

    Great test match. As an Indian fan I would like to point that not all of us think there was a need for that drs controversy or cribbing by some fans later. It's absolutely embarassing. We lost because we have a shit team with a shit spineless and worthless captain. Somedays decisions go your way somedays it doesn't. The people who are cribbing about it are no different from the people who cry icc=bcci whenever any decision goes in India's favour. It was a good match, amazing crowd and the aussies were clearly the superior team this series. I think everyone should move on from baseless and useless controversies and focus on the game rather than all the toxic drivel pushed forth by the media of both Australia (channel 7, fox sports, roar) and India (boria mazumdar the crybaby, rohit juglan the gully cricket expert, etc)

    • @lonewolfe2502
      @lonewolfe2502 20 дней назад

      As Indian, that decision was least of our problem compare to continuous terrible performance and captaincy from Rohit and Kohli. Our team would have been better without these two, especially Rohit. But the moment he arrived in second test, things changed drastically in the squad. In this match we didn't had Gill, but we had Lowhit Sharma because he wanted to make space for himself in top order while replacing In-form Rahul as opener. All of this for him throwing away his wicket in both innings. He also replaced Bumrah as captain even after such remarkable captaincy of Bumrah in first test. People who don't have problems in life, create the problems for themselves. This applies to team selectors of India and Rohit Sharma. It felt like he was there to make India lose. He was like a Harry Maguire of India.

    If Jaiswal was given out based on visual logic then KL Rahul was not out in Perth based on similar visual logic ignoring the spike in nick meter. Umpires have to be consistent on their call else even a TV umpire is giving subjective calls. It is another matter that even if Jaiswal was given not out India would still have lost the match due to sheer pressure.

    • @wino5086
      @wino5086 19 дней назад

      Jaiswal was out
      (He was also out LBW)
      Snicko is a stump microphone...so it didn't pick up the noise...not required...because "With the naked eye, it seemed that he did touch something" and "in all fairness he did touch the ball "
      Jaiswal was out....clutching at straws

    India lost 4th test match because of top orders irresponsible (except Jaiswal and Rahul) and couple of easy catches dropped by Jaiswal and lack of captaincy towards end of the Australia 2nd innings.
    If India get Australia all out for 130 to 150 then target would have been within 250 and India could have scored 50 to 60 runs for 2 or 3 wickets by end of 4th day then India would need around 200 runs in that case India and Australia team would have played with 50-50 % pressure on Day 5 but, since target was 340 for 92 overs then pressure went for Australia 15% (only in the 1st session and they make sure by their discipline attack that India can't win after 1st session) and India 85%.
    India had to play 35 overs in that last session with soft ball and new ball would have been taken for last 10 to 12 overs but, Pant played madness shot unnecessarily and thrown his wicket.
    Even Jaiswal despite played superbly but got out by played unnecessary shot at that situation. I would support for that shot if India is in winning position or we have batsman to come and play even if he gets out. But at that situation, everyone knows we can't win and we can only draw the match which could be literally equaling to win the match because we are in behind the game and if either Washington or Jaiswal get out then tailenders have to come and play. In that case why did he played such a shot.In case if he got out in such a good ball like Rahul got out yes, that's fine but, that ball was not as good as enough for wicket and he could have simply left it.

      But I stand by Collateral. As it is difficult to stomach such partial commentary and analysis. You don't present the argument there is against the decision. But collateral benefit is one gains some knowledge of Cricket. Happy New Year.

    Pat Cummins in his Press conference speaks of a noise and a deviation like he should, otherwise the 'victory ' would seem hollow. You talk of the snicko not picking it because of the distance from the stump mike. So either the snicko went deaf or the Australian Captain Cummins has a special pair of ears.

      ? The technology is used as support not the decision maker. The decision is still decided by the HUMAN umpire. He clearly hit the ball, what’s so controversial? Just like if a batsman, inside edge to his pads, the umpire don’t always need to check snicko.
