Have a 19 (Same truck as yours, color and all except with 3.5 Ecoboost Max Tow)- Fox by Roush coil over system 2.5” . I kept the stock rims and got 275 65r20 Cooper Rugged Trek tires which run big. (34.65x11.75) and it’s been flawless. Has taken all the abuse I’ve put her through. You’re going to love the new system. You won’t be disappointed.
Edit: You’re going to lose fuel mileage tho, but who cares.

Love this color! I went with black on my 22 f150. I’m on a 2.5” level 295/60r20 Nitto recon grappler 20x9 +10 offset and I rub in reverse only turning left for some reason on the front crash bar. If I flex the suspension it’s really close to the front bumper so if you stay in stock wheels you should be good for off-roading and not rubbing.

I put 275/65R20 BFG ko2s on those same wheels and they come in at 34" with no rubbing issues. Looks and works great.

Try to go in the middle find you a tire that's right at 34 like a 295 60 20. Maybe enough to look good but still be really good off-road letting you have all your travel and rebound clearance. I'm not brand loyal but I like how you switched it up I think it was a good move.

A 10 wide wheel with 34 or 35 M/T would look good on this level. Not as much stance as the twelve wides but a 35 would let you fill up more wheel well.
I did a 6" with a 35x13.50r24 on my 21 F150. 26k fun miles so far! Can't wait to see what you decide to do! 👍🏾

As someone who has done more than one kit install, get a "Clamshell Strut Spring Compressor". It is worth the extra money and feeling of safety. Super easy to compress with a light impact.

It's a truck, do not pull rear blocks!!! The higher the better and run 35s, they're only 33.5 on the truck, no tire is the size they say it is. Take 1" off any advertised height. Your 32s are only 31. Bigger is better!!!

  • @TheWolfMatt

So you going to put Falken WildPeak A/T3W on this one? I'd really like to see what you think about those as it's my tire of choice for "on/off road" use tire. The level kit looks nice on the new truck.

I’m not a ford guy, I own only Chev HD’s , but all have been “tired up” My stock chrome 18” rims are 9” wide which is nice, I , after many hrs. pickin the right tire , was a Cooper AT3 with an aggressive sidewall , but super quite summer tread .Soft ride , no balance, 12” wide,35.8” tall !Speedo only reads 1 1/2 KPH slower. Perfect, filled the wheel wells & with “street flairs” 1 1/2” stick out looks like an aggressive “man’s” truck ! Your Ford does look good @ that height!

Thanks for putting together this video.
I had a good alignment shop in my area replace the front upper control arms (bushings were cracked) and install new shocks (Bilstein 5100 with the adjustable leveling rings) a month ago for my 2011 F150 FX4. They leveled the truck, but It’s still slightly nose down, just not nearly as raked as it was from the factory. I then got new tires (Falken Wildpeak A/T4w replacing worn out Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2s of the same size) and had the truck aligned again to give myself a headstart on Houston potholes ( the camber is slightly negative).
At low speeds and bumps, the new suspension and tires are great, but I'm disappointed in the highway driving performance. The truck requires a lot of driver attention to keep it on track compared to previously. I have to make small adjustments as if the steering is loose. It's tiring. Has anyone else had this issue when they leveled their F150 of this era with the Bilsteins?

I know you're supposed to mark the alignment, is this strictly for ease of reinstall so the top bols line up? I had a 2" spacer there, I'm removing it now that the 5100's will provide that lift, but i'll have to rotate the assembly one direction or another in order to get the bolts to line back up. Not sure how I'm going to do it just yet...but wanted to make sure the spring itself or the top plate don't have to be oriented in a particular direction.

The main reason is upgrading to better overall suspension, and depending on the mileage of stock suspension, pucks can wear them out quicker if not already worn. and then would have to take back off to replace, better to get new in my opinion!
