23:00 oddly enough I have encounters where people say stuff like that to me at least 3-4 times a year. People get obsessed with me, take photos of me, want me to go stay with them. Hence why I went horse riding one time and the next minute they wind up going over my head and getting my grandmother to sign me up to work here without consulting me and now im sleeping in a hut in the middle of a paddock because i feel awkward about saying no, i want to go home, because they keep telling me I'm special and all this shit they want me to do for them because of my special energy for their magical park.

Jermaine, right to the end. I think with all the editing you have a plan and that is to win an Oscar! Lol over the top acting to a melodramatic experience that you placed a bet with somebody that you could take THAT story that maybe wasn't even your story but a given scene presented for you to tell it in such a way with extremely over the top story telling or acting that could make what was perhaps a boring story but because of your presentation and delivery make it not only interesting but Oscar worthy. The person you placed the bet with didn't believe you could take a boring, uninteresting, mundane story and through your ability to craft a narrative turn it into a suspenseful, interesting and compelling story worthy of sharing company with the likes of Leonardo, Pacino, or Dinero. Am I right? It is kinda like a project to take a normal scene and make it not only twisted into something else but exciting, compelling and interesting just by your talent in acting and storytelling. Like the way Jerry Sienfeld jokes about creating a show about nothing. THAT becomes the joke. Good story but much a do bout nothin' unless you spin your masterpiece of creative storytelling! In any case I have to admit that I was entertained. Had someone else told the story, Im not sure I would have been convinced nor have been able to stay to the end of the story before changing channels. If this was class credit for an acting class, I'd grade you an A+. You are creating quite the video portfolio to take to Hollywood to demonstrate the range of your acting ability. I have the title on the Travel Channel "Parts Unknown with Jermaine Ellis" Bravo! 👏
I'm only 5 minutes in but the hostel sounds great to me (currently sleeping in a 36sqft hand built hut in the middle of a park surrounded by horses and dogs, the first few nights I had no electricity so just had my phone for a light).

I have been in Nicaragua two times and I had great experiences and met nice people. I hope the Colombian lady made your staying on the bright side. 😊
I went there to that island many years ago remember the ferry ride being a little rough I had my lonely planet guide back then no internet so I try to stay at places in the book.Now it is a different world for travelers a lot easier. Watch it till the end good story. The mamay sapotes were the best in Nicaragua.
