My name is Clementine (but french version, so pronounced Clementeen). My french mum used to sing the 'Oh my darling, oh my darling, oh my darling Clementine' when I was sad to comfort me when I was little to stop me crying. I never thought it was a real song, I thought is was a tune and she put it to words. I'm 18 now, and finding this, this song and the spectral verses about the miner's daughter and the women singing it for the first time. Its like I'm 3 again, sitting on my mum's lap and feeling the tears well up again.

You know what finally hit me why I liked this video beyond the ethereal voices and the pretty faces is all the ladies and the whole scene looks like it comes straight out of a Toulouse-Lautrec painting.
