I released this video for my Birthday because in 1994 my mom bought me the Hootie And The Blowfish "Cracked Rear View" Album and I've been a fan ever since. This is the song that concreted my admiration for Darius Rucker, which I still have today.

Music had always been my escape, something I could always turn to if I needed to run from the pain and the hurt - and then I found this song, when I had nothing in my room other than a smuggled razor blade. Thank you, Marty Ray. You saved me and let me become the person I am today. Four years ago now to the day that I was discharged into outpatient care. Three years clean of my thoughts now. Thank you.

Jay With Tha Beard bro 17 years of my life. Since I was 14 years old. Married for 8, 3 kids, a home, she was my forever life and I watched it crumble in front of me bc her parents thought that should be the way it should be. My question is did we ever know them if it was so easy for em to walk away leaving us broken? The people they truly love ? How are they to know that the grass is greener? It was worth that risk? Today has been a little over a year man. She’s moved on and I’m on my own. I’m in the process of moving on now too. The best thing you can do is succeed brother. It took her less than 6 months to move on so really where was the love? I had it but by myself I guess?! It gets easier. I didn’t feel like it ever would pass but it does. Hang in hang out and hang on my friend.

I lost my mom last August. when I was a toddler she hung out with the Allman Brothers when we lived in macon , GA and had a pic of me sitting on Gregg's lap.
