Come on people at least try to have a critical mindset. What conan said about having amesia but remembering who when and where makes sense to him because thats how they presented the game to him. If you have played amnesia for at least 10 minutes you would know that Daniel drinks the potion after leaving all the notes. When he wakes up he really doesn't remeber anything and his memories start coming back with flashbacks. What conan said is just meant to make you laugh, it's not a criticims towards the story

Everytime I need a laugh, I just go through Conan vids, but this clueless gamer is special. The way he described a man with amnesia always cracks me up.
The scariness of Slender is not in its visual design. Play the game on mute and you'll be bored out of your mind. The scariness comes from the top notch sound design. Play the game in a dark room with headphones and you'll crap your pants, or at least be startled. It just goes to show how crucial good sound design is when creating an environment, especially one that is intended to evoke emotions like fear.
There is one guy who had the worst and loudest laugh in here. "Yeeeeahhhk ak ak". Then theres the one guy who knew about all the games they where playing, you always heard him and only him go "wooooh!"
Personally, I can get through games like Dead Space or Amnesia just fine. In fact, I platinumed Amnesia on the PS4. But Slender: The Arrival terrifies me. I cannot physically bring myself to play through the Kate chapter. Having to lock up the house during a raging thunderstorm while Slenderman could appear at any moment, just..... Can I fight an elevator full of Necromorphs instead, please? At least I'd be armed in that scenario. And where Slenderman is silent and unsettling, Necromorphs are just noisy and pointy looking. I can handle pointy and noisy- not silent and menacing.
How is it ppl give jimmy fallon MILLIONS of views for playing stupid games....yet Conan playing and making fun of games which is HILARIOUS! gets barely 4 or 5 million views?
But amnesia is by far the most scariest. Its just you have to play it seriously, immerse yourself into the story. All he does is making jokes and not caring at all, thats not how you play these games, and the footage was like 1 minute
@@moyfon45 Everyone has a different taste I guess. Outlast modern setting was not scary for me personally. It was creepy and all but the jumpscares were a bit predictable. Story was above average. Amnesia on the other hand, I couldnt even finish it. I tried like 5-6 times and I still succumb to unbelievable tension and pressure. I still come back to that game from time to time hoping I could progress a bit farther everytime, but I fail. After all these years of playing that game the farthest point I got is when you meet The Brute for the first time. I never bothered playing again, I cant go 10 meters without pausing the game lol
It doesn't work because those letters on a keyboard are not next to each other in a fashion that is at all comfortable, or functional for controlling in-game movement. lol

mineraftguy123 I'm not sure how much they actually show on the broadcast, but the online videos don't seem to need censoring. Conan's also played the most recent Tomb Raider and got Lara impaled through the neck multiple times, and they showed it every time. He's also on cable and I think he airs pretty late, so they might be able to get away with this stuff.

I find Slender a little bit scary but I'm not scared of outlast AT ALL. like i can play that game lights off at 3:00 and not be scared but Slender no way. I guess everyone has their own fears
dc14eva Nope. It's a video game so I know I'm not going to die in real life. Only type of games that scare me are those pop up scares or whatever. Outlast is a good game and I'm sure is scary for other but that's not my type of scares. FEAR 1 at the time* for me was scary, stuff like that.
BE HONEST... ANYONE listening with headphones, got even a bit startled or jump scared when that scream happened at the very beginning??? I'm not used to ever wearing headphones, especially on a laptop... BUT it still got me!
Outlast was truly, and with no exaggeration, the only game that forced me to play it only during daytime. This game was innovative in giving that unending anxiety of what might happen next

I'm not sure how much they actually show on the broadcast, but the online videos don't seem to need censoring. Conan's also played the most recent Tomb Raider and got Lara impaled through the neck multiple times, and they showed it every time. He's also on cable and I think he airs pretty late, so they might be able to get away with this stuff.

Does anyone else realize how much funnier Conan is without a script? The guy is quick witted. These clueless gamer segments are so funny too. Whoever thought of having Conan do gameplay videos is a genius. It not only speaks to the younger demographic that's obsessed with Let's Play videos but Conan is funnier than any RUclips LP'er. Plus he doesn't know anything about games so you get a real outside perspective of how silly some games are.

Outlast was truly, and with no exaggeration, the only game that forced me to play it only during daytime.
