I have been searching for a nice little chopper/processor for quite some time now, and have watched a lot of videos and done my research on the different brands. The Ninja Express Chop is always right up there with the best. Then I found your review, and you sealed the deal for me! I have just ordered my Ninja Express & it should be arriving tomorrow, Feb 4’2023. I can’t wait to give it a try. Thanks for the great review video 👍🏻, you helped me decide on which machine to purchase. Have a great day! 🇨🇦
This will be my first time owning a chopper after searching so many brands I am sold. I am going to go with this one thank you so much for this. Excellent video.
I have had my Ninja Express Chop... oh, I don't know.... a few months or more. I use this little gem regularly; almost daily. What I use it mostly for is finely chopping up food for my almost-toothless dogs and whenever I want to quickly finely chop a small amount of onion, bell pepper, celery, etc and just do not want to drag out the larger food processor. I keep mine on the counter for quick access. Clean up in a breeze. Cannot go wrong with this device. :)
Bought mine almost 2 months ago for $20 at target 🎯, HOLY BATMAN! thing's super badass and couldn't live without it. Awesome review and keep rocking on future vids. New subscriber for life 😎
Just bought one for health reasons to get better health benefits for me and my husband to be able to have more variety of herbs and veggies and fruits but also healthy marinades and sauces for plain rice. Excited about it. Also do bird chop for my birds! Very helpful to have one of these in our house. I don't like chopping and with my health just wash and throw it in and it's quick
I have had one of these for several years and I love it! I'm a snowbird and have one at my winter home. If I had more kitchen space in my summer home this would be the first gadget I would buy.
I have this and love it so much! Got it for $19.99 at Target in the US! I LOVE it and use it almost daily for so many things! There’s bigger versions where you can chop more at a time and I’m about to get that one as well!
I like that you can close it up and do liquids. That *sealed* the deal for me! Get it!? That's a little American humor for you there. Mine arrives Thursday. Thanks again.
I’ve literally just got mine yesterday after my big and very rarely used processor gave up the ghost. In the uk it is £29.99 and comes with two cups, each with their own splash guard/lid which are stackable. I used it to chop onions and it was great and so quick too.
Cool vid, thanks for sharing. Just a small thing, but you neglected to say you get a second container including the lid with it too. That’s pretty handy. Also, I saw on another video that the guy rinsed the chopper out and put some clean water in and pressed the button a few times to help clean it. I tried it earlier and it worked pretty well. That’s quite a handy tip. It’s a good little chopper, pretty pleased with it so far. I’ve used it to make a smoothy, and chop some salad so far. The carrots and tomatoes were a bit uneven, but that’s not a deal breaker. I think it will even chop ice. Yet to try it though.
Trying to find an affordable blender/food processor to puree dog food for an older sheltie that has just had a stroke. The ones I see are this one and the Elite version for same day delivery. Thanks for the thorough review!
@@TheAverageKitchen Had it same day delivered. First time my dog has been able to eat something in 2 days. Your review is a literal life saver. Just thought you might like to know. I, and Mr. Magoo both thank you. 🐶
I bought my first one years ago maybe about 15 years ago. I loved it! It still worked just that I would make salsa in it so the jar started getting cracks in it. About 8 years later I got another one. The first one was red. It was $20 US then I bought the gray one, that came with a blender for $40. Didn't much use the blender, I think I have it away lol. Anyhow, 7 years later I bought the black one for $60 US on Amazon but this one came with the chopper, food processor, and blender. I still have the gray one, I just thought that the black one was nice and got it. I've had it for about a year already. Meaning they are really good and last for a long time. The black one I saw on sale for $49 the set of 3. That's a steal!
It's GREAT!!! I purchased this years ago when QVC had it. But I lost it in a hurricane. After the Wally-World brand I have now, "bites the dust," I'll get another Ninja! I used to make slurpees with my old one. I would freeze Diet Dr Pepper in an ice cube tray and chop them up with a little bit of unfrozen Diet Dr Pepper. Voila! My favorite slurpee!
@SundayVillian: I bought it today at Superstore for $29 CAD... because of your comment. LOL. A friend let me use hers a few years ago for a while, and I was absolutely impressed how great this little chopper worked. My larger K.A. died after 2 years moderate use. Never again K.A., I was always thinking about the little NINJA Express Chop, but Amazon sells them for 55 CAD. And here was your comment! I drove right away to Superstore and got >the very last one
thanks for the video, looks good. I want some of your turkey haha! thinking about this for Christmas and for people who go "you can just chop it yourself!" forget about people (like myself) with hand disabilities and the more motion I have to do the worse it gets, so a SMALL size food processor like this looks perfect (I have a big honker which is unwieldy for small salads and whatever, I bust it out when making chili)
I never heard u saying if it needs batteries,or is it a USB charger,or plug in...well i made a few videos on other apps & its a success..AS A INTERNATIONAL INFLUENCER THAT I AM... THIS PRODUCT ITS GREAT
Used this for years and it works great but has anyone else noticed that after a while of regular use the base develops cracks/break lines that radiate outward from the center point? I've replaced it twice because this. The first time it happened I spoke with a company rep who arranged for a replacement. Unfortunately, it happened with that one as well. I don't want to keep buying them if this is a problem that the company can't seem to fix. It would be a shame to have the entire container bust while it's in operation...it would be a mess not to mention dangerous!
The only negative I can come up with is that most of these style small chopper/blenders have a port for drizzling in oil, this does not. But that's really it. The Ninja just barely beat out the Hamilton Beach 3 Cup Mini Chopper in head to head performances. The HB does have the drizzle port, to who ever that's important too. And is only $20 compared to the $25 Ninja (at Target). So very comparable.
I must admit, I Saw this here in the UK for around $35USD and I had to double check it was a Ninja product, their stuff, while very good, is always quite expensive.
@@TheAverageKitchen Ahh I am tempted! but I also have a Bosch food processor which does a good job chopping up things like salads etc. I think this chopper is one gadget I really don't need right now, it's more of a want, than a need haha Thanks for the video though!
I’m getting gastric sleeve surgery later this year and need to experiment with purées. I’m a picky eater with textures. Probably not doing meat into a purée 🤢, I’m probably being too picky, even if something smells great if it looks awful, it’s a nope from me.
This is probably a stupid question, but I just bought a Ninja Express Chop, and I'm wondering whether the blade is supposed to lock in place somehow at the bottom of the bowl or is supposed to be loose. The quick assembly guide says this: "Holding the Chopping Blade Assembly by the top of the shaft, insert it into the 16 oz. Processing Bowl, making sure it is LOCKED [all caps/emphasis mine] in place on the pin at the bottom of the container." But then further down the page is this warning: "Chopping Blade Assembly is sharp and NOT [all caps/emphasis mine] locked in place." ??? The blade on mine does not seem to lock (it's quite loose when it's placed in the bowl), so I'm kind of afraid to try the machine because I don't know whether it's broken/defective. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. PS: I just discovered your channel!
Great question and thanks for the comment. If I remember this device correctly, it doesn't "lock" to the degree of being secure and needing to be "unlocked" to remove. It "locks" meaning it sits in a particular groove to move freely and consistently. Hope this helps somewhat. - J
@@TheAverageKitchen Thank you so much for responding! I will see how the machine works later today when I try to chop some veggies; hopefully, the blade will spin correctly and not rattle, etc. Thanks again for your help.
Thanks! Yes you're right, although they're probably designed to be used on a regular countertop as opposed to an island. They always forget us islanders! - J

Why every time you start the machine on you skip the video? It's only normal to stop the chopping, push with a spoon any food down and start again.... we don't expect to see magic. What you demonstrate is misleading
