I've known this one for a while, but to be honest I didn't want to record a video of it because 1. I wasn't sure it would fit the channel well, and 2. Because it's a very laid back rendition, and I know the upbeat, technical displays of guitar playing seem to be everyone's favorite. But oh well, here it is, if you decide you want to hear it. I guess you could say this is actually a tribute to the subs, who have been here despite my irregular uploads.
Some details about the rendition:
You've surely noticed this, but it sounds different than the original. It's certainly slower, and there's not a large emphasis on the bass line. In fact, the only thing that's the same as the original is the chord progression, maybe. This version is in A major, I think the famous recording of it is in C major. I'm not sure.
I usually bust this one out at wineries and fancy places, if I'm lucky enough to be at either of those places. It's a crowd pleaser. Definitely gives off a date night kind of vibe. Which makes it awkward to play alone ;(
I've got more stuff in the works (it seems like I always say that), but it's coming along. I've got something of a virtual "jam session" which I'm creating as a tool which I think might help inspire some people to play along. I might do a series of backing tracks to encourage that. I don't know. I'll just wing it and hopefully it won't suck!

I vastly prefer this version to the others I have heard (not knocking other versions) this one “feels” right. Its also a joy to listen to. Amazing job.

Basically it's just the intro, verse, and chorus (So, the whole song, minus my little fills and the solo section), if you're curious to give it a go

I should try making some for this, good idea. Though the tab would certainly revolve around the main melodies of the original song, and not so much all the little fills here and there in this cover (since I play it a little differently every time, after all). If I get the tab together soon enough and put it up, I'll let ya know
Tabs are up now, though they're very simplified (They just include the intro, the verse, and the chorus). I might come back to it later and update it with the little fills and the solo section. Until then, I hope you find it to yer liking and you can always email me questions too if you have any
