- In this epsiode we get our 1990 Chevy Suburban Lowbuck Overland vehicle (the LOWverlander) moving under it's own power. We figure out the fuel pump issues which resulted from converting from an intank pump to an external one, and fix up a few other details and take the Suburban for its first short drive.

LOL Thanks for the shout out! Super score on the newly rebuilt engine! Congratulations I’ll be following the project! 👍
Congrats Randy! Nice work 👍👍👍
I'm glad the selfie stick didn't fall off the bumper!
Lol yep I have a bad habit of leaving tools and various other items where they don’t belong, I was wondering if someone was going to catch that haha, good eye!
Good Work!! 👍👍
Nice bug out vehicle !
Trick custom recipes for the low mount alternator
That looked like more water than oil that you drained out.
I'd recommend getting a new fuel pump assembly sooner than later.
I agree, I’ll be replacing that before I venture very far from home!
@@LowbuckLS also I'd do two more oil changes with a detergent after what I saw, come out of the oil pan.
@@WolfCross yes I’ve already changed it again after about 30 minutes of running/driving and it looked a lot better but I’ll change it again soon, will probably change it pretty often for the first while
Sounds like it needs valve adjustment at least that’s what the ticking sounds like on video
I agree, sounds like the lash needs to be checked I’ll do that soon
I think that's a tbi converted to carburetor
Soooooooo, you now have a 6.0 LS for sale complete with wireharness and ecu? lol. wink wink.... I'm close and have just the right tahoe for it :)
We’ll see how this engine does, gonna hang on to the 6.0 for a bit
bert visser here on wifes account lol. Wondering how the turbo truck is holding up.Been rewatching your series on it and getting warmed up on doing one.I did just replace the engine in our tahoe and got the LS fever going on now. Bit hesitant on the price of hp tuner with cable, ugh Hope your doing good.
@@Cassandrathebeach hi Bert, the turbo truck is doing well although I didn’t drive it at all over the winter. I think you said you were in the Ponoka area right? If you want you can use my HP Tuners cable and you’d just have to pay for 2 credits to tune it
@@LowbuckLS that's a very generous offer ! I think I need my own hptuners tho,as I'm sure mine is gonna go like most, always tweaking, learning, improving. More boost every time :)
