Tarmac Works is such a beast, slightly above Mini GT on details for slightly above as well on the price. Still a Fair price value for 1/64, especially for race car culture.
Please do more Tarmac coverage, absolutely love the cars, the brand and their style. Im almost exclusively collecting RWB and cant get enough of their cars.
Love the new packaging, more premium diecast makers should make it like that. And i really like the Koenigsegg Agera and the Shelby GT350R. The "oil Can" packages are great as well, especially the "Marlboro" (John's new favorite word :D ) style RWB 993 Porsche. I wouldn't mind seeing more coverage for Tarmac Works in 2021. Thanks for the presentation!
Packaging you don't have to destroy to open and that you can put the car back into after taking pictures outside the packaging will always be a major plus in my book. I think I still prefer the M2's with the display cube in a cardboard box since they're easily stackable, but, yes, the way Tarmac Works does it with clamshells should be the standard for blister packs for all retail premium brands. Not that I'm able to find Tarmac Works at normal, non-hobby specialty retail in Canada (and I don't like paying through the nose for shipping, especially international shipping to Canada but even diecast shipping within Canada can be pretty pricey, so I rarely order diecast online), so I doubt I'll have any Tarmac Works any time soon.
Had to run off to Surplus goodies and purchase the #14 container Volvo wagon, while i was there I picked up the 850 Estate safety car. Looks pretty cool with the light bar on top. Hope that Tarmac works keeps making wagons
Awesome content as always. Tarmac is very awesome for collectors and other favorite brands of mine are Aoshima and INNO64 plus Kyosho,TSM, HobbyJapan1/64. There are many others as well.
It will never happen when it comes to Walmart’s. Tarmac works are meant for retail online only or at your weekly collectors conventions or your local hobby meetups. I attend the one near my location that is open Wednesdays,Saturdays and Sundays called Frank N Son collectibles. www.frankandsonshow.net/
You really made us suffer by showing that Mercedes that, BTW looks AMAZING!!!, but my favorite by far is the Global 64 line just because I collect cars not display items so, it's a deal breaker if they don't roll. Love the pink RWB though, but my choice would definitely be the Mustang.
Inno64 or tarmac? And the 2nd question : if I must give 20 or 22 euros for one item tarmac why not give 23 for one tlv which has for me better quality?? Thanks in advance
I usually do from ebay. maybe not the best prices, but prices I am willing to pay for it as I don't know about any resellers around here (I live in Switzerland) and shipping costs from Asia are usually quite low here ...
@@goodialThanks. I also found a hobby store in the Nederlands that has an online store with hot wheels mini GT, Matchbox, tarmac works and a bunch of others like almost real Called Tom's of Nederlands it's where I ended up getting them only 7€ for shipping to Germany
you can buy Tarmac Works models directly from their website. The racecar version is sold out, but the RWB one is still available (quite expensive though)

love Tarmac cars, they look awesome, lot of details, I have mine on a wall display. Great video as usual
Where do u buy tarmac cars?
i knew i had to have the GT350R and i ordered it the moment i saw it listed, now i just gotta wait for it to get here
Same here buddy. Waiting game.
Me too.I am waiting it to come. The Hot Wheels version looks like nothing compared to the Tarmac Works version.

I soooooooooo wish that these were sold in stores. I would buy every one of them and embrace the debt that I'd be in afterwards LoL

Tarmac is now give me 1 more reason to living in this horrible time...
Agree 100% on the Morelow Porsche as best Tarmac of 2020, it is just stunning.
Sweet pieces. I'm still waiting for the hks oil can skyline to be released.
When it's going to be released?

I like what tarmac works has set up for next year. Got my eye on the Toyota Hiace 👌🏼

These are not for sale here. I have not seen such beauty anywhere. Very cool!
When Tarmac Works cuts a deal with Walmart the clam-shell packaging will vanish. Clam-shells on pegs would equal empty clam-shells.

Winner is tarmac

Hey, if you know any of the workers from matchbox will you ask them if they will ever continue the casting of the mega ton fire truck?
That Volvo is just amazing!! 😍
Which one is you guys favourite? The Mustang or The Koenisegg?
Listen, if it has wheels then it's meant to be raced & I'm racing them!!!
Estan muy bonitos todos felicidades amigo
To have all of those PORSCHEs in my collection.
Very nice! But question:
What is the difference between hobby64/road64 and global64?
Does the global roll better than other ones?
Correct!
@@SURPLUSgoodies thanks bro! So global rolls better, the hobby is for static display I guess🤔
And what is road64?
Google didn’t tell me about that😅
@@tvdb698 Road64 is their 'Factory' color schemes versus Hobby64 which are their Racing Livery schemes.
@@SURPLUSgoodies thanks bro! Makes me want to buy some global64 because they roll hahahha
I give it to them, they look good. Maybe one day I'll pick one or two up, but until then feel free to show them to us sir.
agreed 100%
2020 was crappy? Gee....I didn't notice, then again I drank alot more this year and of course collected die cast when I could...🙄🙄🙄🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯❗
Nice
I'm so glad Lamley introduced me to Mini GT and Tarmac Works. My wallet may not agree though haha
2020 was a good, but not great year for TW. I predict a huge comeback for TW in 2021 that will solidify their position in die-cast industry.
i am surprised that you know our dutch (former) racing driver Jan Lammers...can you explain?
When is the Mini GT x Lamley collab coming? Tarmac already did that with the C63.
Did you end up getting the new pagani zonda membership car?
Cool cars love the Combl 👌

Nice pieces, haven’t seen before where they are sold?
you can buy directly from their website.
@@goodial will look into it, thanks for the information.
#Lamley group is no1 🇦🇺 🙂
Does anyone know where to buy Mini GT and Tomica?

John needs more 1/18s
And I need more 1/1 cars, watches, sneakers, and coats. But that isn’t what this channel is about.
John needs a bigger house for 1/18. The 1/64 are much easier to collect and display. Not everyone lives in a mansion

Why are SUVS and trucks popular in the North American market?. Why are sedan sales declining
space i would say. you don't have to buy a truck and a sedan to go out in the weekends. also probably they have better visibility for being taller.
When is Tarmac coming to Europe?💶
You can buy online but import cost is going to be high.
Japan still sells oil in cans like that. FYI
I love the pig, but i guess it's not available in Germany.

I'm curious about tarmac works, can you play with tarmac works. I heard the wheels were suck and doesn't roll at all??
Wheels does work
@@triggers8402 ... mostly
@@aristosachaion_ true
Not into playing with them but it is nice if they atleast roll
Just swap out the tires with Monoblock ultra thins and they'll roll just fine
Does the koenisegg roll well?
It depends
i have one and its rolls ok
the volvo is a nice casting but compared to the shelby it loses out due to it not rolling
does the Road64 version roll? That one looks absolutely lovely.
@@ThePilotGear i dont think so
Unbelievable
$20 cars, they look pretty, but no thank you.
Welcome to premium diecast lol
