Thanks, Tommy! It was really fun. I'm actually getting ready for another one tomorrow. I'm bringing with me my new Antumbra Knit (Plaits) that I bought because of your video. 😂
@@benjiaomodular I feel very pleased that I have been able to drag you further down the rabbit-hole of Synth DIY 😄😋 Good luck with your gig tomorrow - I'm sure it gonna rock!
Do you mind, if i use pcb way to make some of your modules for myself, and resell the extras ? i am USA not phillapins, i want to start a small electronic parts, modules, components etc, ebay store and work my way up. please let me know if its ok, otherwise i feel guilty if i do it otherwise. appreciated.
I'd be happy if you do! The designs are all free and open-source with no restrictions for any purpose including for commercial purposes, as long as it comes without any warranty from me. 😊github.com/benjiaomodular/MiniMix/blob/main/LICENSE.md You could also make a small donation to my parts funds to help me keep designing open-source modules through ko-fi. I'd really appreciate it but this isn't required at all. ko-fi.com/benjiao
@@benjiaomodular I promise, if i start a buisness selling open source modules, and can get my vehicle place to live and so forth, and , not live like i am right now, that i will indeed donate. this is just a thought bubble on how i can make a few dollars and build up a modular at same time as starting my buisness , getting a car and so forth. thank you very much. you are a good man. was going to start with those erica synth open source ones, but i bought a panel set and they are a nightmare to be honest. hard to assemble, confusing, lots of expensive /hard to find parts, etc. so i dont think theyd even sell good.
@@benjiaomodular since this is my first time printing PCB when i have the money, for that delay module, or all other modules, what pcbway option do you use for front panel? i kind of dont want a front panel that contains lead. and thats the cheapest option. i saw you had a clear front panel in the video i think on one of them ? or just use the lead one and since theres no solder, theres no lead in it ?
@@HeavyDutyModularSynths I use regular FR4 with HASL with lead because it's cheap for prototypes. I also like ENIG (Immersion gold) if you have the budget for it
Halo Benjie, One question, I'm working on building the minimix right now , I suddenly realize that there is no pin one dot on the silkscreen of the NE5532 chip , Is the upper side the chip at the upper side of the PCB ? Thx Grtz
Nice work Benjiao!
Thanks!!! 😊👌
Really enjoyable :)
Thanks! I'm glad you like it. 😊

Nice work, nice video, short and to the point.
Thank you very much! 😊
Another cool build. Thanks!

Who never put a potentiometer backward, honestly? 😅
Nice video Benjie!
I know right!? It's a requirement for version 1's. 😂Thanks!!
true !
Thank you for this series. Do you always prototype on perfboard as opposed to strip board?

Hi! That's good to hear.
Pin one will be at the lower-right. You'll notice that the line extends further on that corner compared to the other three.
